Where do I begin with my bad experience, first the manager and waitress conspire to place all 12 children in one table to avoid servicing multiple tables. Then after waiting a grueling 37 minutes and counting, the waitress finally shows her face and asks us for our beverage order with an attitude. We must’ve waited for what seemed like an hour to get our sprites (no ice) only to be told that we would be unable to order due to the party being large. Let me be clear I am not upset, I’m just DISAPPOINTED that they couldn’t accommodate.
It took awhile for us to get our order. I ordered the whiskey bacon burger no bun sub Impossible burger with crispy fries. The whiskey sauce was ok but had a strange after taste. The bacon was still a little wiggly. The fries were done well. My husband had the Bourbon Street chicken and shrimp with garlic mashed potatoes. The garlic flavor on the chicken and shrimp was delicious. We usually always want more garlic, but this had just the right amount.
As a casual restaurant, this place is not the worst. Sometimes they are understaffed, but they still strive to make the best experiences possible. I did put 4 stars on service because my recent experience I had a waitress who was not as attentive. The food is decent, I have to order an extra side of sauce for my wings since they are not coated completely in wing sauce like they used to be years and years ago. With the extra sauce though- they taste delicious! Atmosphere is okay. During the day it is pretty calm, during the night you sometime have the game on or people playing on the jukebox. ( I personally love when everyone is playing on the jukebox ) It is also a bit chilly in there, so bring a coat.
We visited your Applebee's in Corpus Christi. We have been several times. This time we were sat, and received menus, but then were ignored. A couple was sat across from us and received food and drink. I had to go to the bar to ask for service, and was told someone would be with us. After 10 more minutes we left. This is unacceptable. We spent 30 minutes with no acknowledgement. I sincerely hope you do better in the future.
The food was cooked to perfection. Emily was attentive and on point. We don't have an ???? bees where we live. I'm Glad we had a great experience. Thanks

My family’s order was cold like it had just been sitting there :/ we were also missing a lot of food and to top it off I spent well over $100 on just this order X/
