I have tested the mettle of many a chicken finger. Applebee's fries are one of my favorites. This place was standard for Applebee's, service was nice and the food was good. No complaints other than a slight odd moment with no host/hostess so I stood there about 3 minutes feeling weird.
I arrived at the exact time they told me to arrive, I live 8 mins away but the food was cold and dry by the time I got home. Curbside took 13 minutes; I was the only vehicle waiting when I arrived. Two vehicles came and went while I waited. Chips were stale, spinach dip and salsa were watered down, flavor in both was almost nonexistent. Ribs were lacking sauce. Chicken tenders were hard and burnt. Extras that I paid for were not in the bag. Definitely not worth the money spent. Extremely disappointed.
The restaurant was not busy at all we were quickly seated. Server was slow to acknowledge we were there though she was nice. We ordered drinks and an appetizer that was on promo. Took us a few moments as we pondered on what we wanted. So we finally decided and my husband ordered a cheese burger and fries simple enough. I ordered an 8 oz steak with fries and wanted to add some fried shrimp to it. Neither order was that complicated or at least I didn't think so. Our food came out and my order was wrong so I sent it back and stated I asked for fried shrimp not steak with grilled shrimp and sauce on top. She apologized and took my food back. 5 to 10 minutes later she brings my new order out. My husband is snacking on his fries waiting for my food to come out while his is getting cold. This time the order was almost right. They still put grilled shrimp but I had asked for fried shrimp. I didn't say anything else because I did not want my husband's food to get any colder than it was as he was waiting on me patiently. The server blamed the cook saying that he didn't understand what she was talking about. When it was time to pay on the order ticket she had put grilled shrimp instead of what I said which was fried. It was not just the cooks fault. The server didn't listen to the customer. Now the food. The first grilled shrimp that I tasted was gross due to whatever seasoning they used on it. But that was fixed really soon because everything else had so much salt on it that it burnt your tongue and you could not taste anything else anyhow. Even my husband complained about the amount of salt that was used on the food and my husband never complains about food. The atmosphere was great with food music and different selections of things to watch on their TVs.
The food and service (Jeremy is alway great!) are always superb, but being the first into the restaurant and going directly to the ladies room, I wasn’t expecting to see one of the commodes unflushed. So, it was either from the night before or left by an employee this morning. Not a good look for cleanliness, either way. Didn’t know how to ‘star’ this other than atmosphere.
Good food. Slow inattentive service, people seated with another server 10 minutes after us were already on desert when we received our entree!! Food was not prepared as requested. And child's order was LAST meal served. ASK for no veggies on burger and steak medium.
The food wasn’t good at all. My steak was so rubbery and I just got tired of trying to cut it. The broccoli and cheese was good. The spinach dip was good. My garlic mashed potatoes were good as well. All Apples Bee’s need to revamp their decor and seating. The carpet smells really bad. My waiter name was Hope she’s so sweet. She made sure she took care of us.
Just ate here. The food was great. I also want to commend Logan for being such a fantastic server. Awesome service!
Service was fair!
Noninvasive waiter; he was very polite but soft spoken. Our appetizers were out in a flash. Entrees were not far behind. The bathrooms and everything was very clean on first look!
Food taste and quality overall wasn’t my favorite, but that could be more of a me thing.
I’d recommend! They’ve got some great specials as well.
