Melissa was amazing and entertained our whole group the whole time we were here the best waitress I’ve ever had at Applebee’s
Editing/updating my review: I just noticed someone left a review insisting that the little ipad tablet things don't allow for a $0 tip, yet I was politely explained exactly how to leave a $0 tip if I preferred that when paying on these little tablet things (this also tells me this particular reviewer probably not only doesn't tip but also routinely complains about every business they visit on google but I could be wrong)
Not sure why Applebee's responses to these reviews never acknowledge their employees, but the employees are the backbone, legs, and soul of a good experience. I had a lovely time yesterday, as usual, because of the EMPLOYEES. My food was tasty, it was clean inside (especially worth noting the bathrooms, good job). This corporate structure reeks of failure to treat staff as well as they deserve (and they probably make min wage), but I'd like to thank the employees for all that they do, and say that they are the reason I return.
Hi Christine was a good bartender. She recommended to wait for happy hour specials. The kitchen was real slow. Took over 35 minutes to get chicken Alfredo to go. Also, one of my appetizers went to the wrong person. Had to wait for them to remake it.
My burger was good, the appetizer combo plate came out with the apps all at very different temperatures, and the chicken tasted so many shades of bad I couldn't begin to understand what went wrong there. The service, however, was amazing!
Better than anticipated. Food was good for the price - and for what I would expect of an Applebee’s. Quesadillas were super yummy. If you’re a tech-geek you can order from their nifty tablets on each table. Easier than the service. Wait staff needs to be better trained. Been here three times and waiters are kinda clueless. Nice ambiance and comfty booths to sit at. ???? Oh, and easy parking.
Melissa was a great server, she was attentive and very kind! Food was really good and ready in a timely manner. Thank you Applebees Windsor!
Today was awful. Already not having a good day I wanted to get some hot chicken wings and soup for the rainy day. I ordered French onion soup and usually they have the soup and the breaded topping on the side. (This is though Door Dash that I picked up. Today they gave me a completely different soup. They gave me some type of chicken tortilla soup or something with the breaded cheese topping for the French onion already on top. It looks horrendous and absolutely unappetizing starting with the fact it’s not the soup I ordered. The wings were ice cold and the order wasn’t even ready when I got there. It’s a five minute drive back to my house. Luckily door dash gave me nearly a full refund.
Melissa helped me find love on this dark dreary night. The best server there ever was at Applebee’s where the margaritas flow.
