The wait for our initial food was a bit on the longer side considering it was early and not busy. My wife ordered the all you can eat menu and we were told we could not share our food with each other even though it was not the only thing we ordered .
Waited 15+ minutes, while the waiters were just standing doing nothing. I was literally ignored. I left.. very disappointing. This never happened before, but I’m so disappointed. The fact that I was being ignored and couldn’t place an order was so aggravating. Why? Why would they ignore me? ????
EDIT: Applebees got back to me and apologized for the service. I was taken care of and visited again, and the service was amazing. Food was just as great as I remember it. Will come back. Thank you for your consideration of your customers ????
I came for a family dinner here and overall, I'll give Applebee's a 4.5/5
Food: The food was simply amazing! For appetizers, we ordered The Classic Combo which pretty much filled us! For the main course, we ordered Double-Glazed Baby Back Ribs, Shrimp 'N Parmesan Sirloin and Bourbon Street Chicken & Shrimp. None of
Service: Our waitress was a very sweet young lady, she constantly came to check on us and made sure everything was going well. (5/5)
Atmosphere: I'd like to say the restaurant is well maintained...but the booth we sat at were tearing apart and personally, I thought the lighting could have been a bit better, but otherwise, everything was perfect (4/5)
Unfortunately, the portions at this restaurant are ridiculously small, and to make matters worse, my friend found a huge splinter in his steak. This place is a complete letdown. Definitely do not recommend.
I regret not having read the comments before choosing this place for a family dinner. From the moment we entered, the unpleasant atmosphere was felt. The person who greets the customers did not even respond when we greeted them. I think the nationality of the customer that makes a difference on how the waiters act. I asked them to please sing for my daughter's birthday and they refused. They told me they didn't do it anymore. We saw them doing it with other customers when we arrived. A truly unpleasant visit and we hope not to return. I have been to other locations and honestly I have never had such an unpleasant experience :/. When we finally finished our dinner and we sang happy birthday to my daughter because we couldn't let anything ruin her day. If you read this review, please don't choose this place.
Tried to dine in on a less than busy weekday night. Come if you enjoy waiting on them, not them waiting on you…
Came for dinner with my family & left disappointed. It was not packed at all, & there was lots of seating & multiple waiters. We waited for 15 minutes & never received acknowledgment from anyone. We weren’t even offered water while we waited for the waitress / waiter. Been to multiple apple bees in different parts of the country. This by far has been the worst customer service experience.
My husband and I arrived after 10pm which allowed us to get appetizers at half price which was nice. My husband also ordered a special they are running...Bacon cheeseburger with fries and a "soft drink" for $9.99. Everything was good. When the bill came we were charged $3.99 for his strawberry lemonade. When we asked our waitress why she charged for the drink she explained it "comes from another place and is not included in the promotion". I think she should have told us that when we ordered. Lemonade is not a "soft drink" although it does not state that on the menu?? We paid the $30. check, left a $10. tip and asked to speak to a manager. When we brought this to the attention of the manager she said "the lemonade comes from a different place" and "we don't do the marketing". Maybe not, but you train your staff and in the future your staff should inform the customer that certain drinks are not included in the promo... that's just good practice and common sense! Perhaps the manager needs a tweeking on her training.
This place is nice and the food is good. But the atmosphere is bad because of how much kids go there and you can’t even talk with all the kids talking. But the service was ok and the food tasted really good.
