The food at this location was not good. I am not one to send meals back for a variety of reasons so did not make my complaints known in the store. I had ordered the Fettucine Alfredo with shrimp. It came with chicken. Upon taking my first bite I realized the pasta was old and had probably been sitting in water for hours, the consistency was that of a thick paste and entirely inedible.
???????????? don’t go here to eat! McDonald’s is better! I’m not one to complain about food, much less send it back, but here I had to, I ordered the “fall off the bone” ribs they were so tough and chewy you couldn’t rip them apart or off the bone, the steak knife struggled cutting them… one of my daughters got the kids pizza which looked like a frozen pizza you’d buy at Walmart and the bottom was burnt, other daughter had chicken fingers again hard crunchy looked like store bought precooked… seriously McDonalds is better
This visit to AppleBee’s in Devils Lake was the best visit we’ve ever had there! We went for a dinner date and it was perfect. During our visit the power went out due to major wind, half of the town was out as well. Every employee stayed calm and the atmosphere stayed fun! The manager named Tara stayed very calm and was very nice to everyone and handled it perfectly! Our waitress that goes by Mikey was absolutely fabulous! Our food was delicious as was our drinks! Thank you for the awesome night!
Food was cold. Service was bad. Took forever to get our food & check. Tried asking a question about it only to be ignored & treated rudely. Mikey our server was too busy visiting with friends. Manager on duty was too busy trying to be "friends" with workers and was rude. Could hear both making comments in the back about me asking questions about the bill. Dirty dishes on many tables & at the bar. Also kids menu does state limit 2 kids meals per adult entree, no where does it state per 1 child. So if you get 2 kids meals for 1 child, you'll be charged 0.99 for one and full price for one. Other two ladies (young brunette & older gray haired woman were nice).
Not a huge fan of Applebee's... this location was very clean with an excellent waiter. The food was great. Applebee's just doesn't have many options at all.
Poor service poor management waited for an hr for our food and there not even busy server only check on us twice need better cooks that know what there doing and better management who knows how to.operate a business
Bad management and no service.
We were sat at the bar as none of the tables were clean. Our order was taken and we were left. The bar was full of dirty dishes and no bartenders when we were seated. The bartender came on duty and never said hello or acknowledged we were there. Our food arrived and we ate our "so so tasting" meal while listening to constant running water. The bartender would turn on a faucet and walk away. She wasted enough water to fill all of her sinks multiple times. After finishing our food and no refills on drinks, we finally flagged down a waitress so we could get our check. I won't be going there again.
Friendly staff and nice atmosphere. Good old American diner food and cheap drinks during happy hour.
