We had lunch on Saturday and Samantha H. was our server. Couldn't have ask for better service. We sat at one of the tables in front of bar to watch football games. She checked on us multiple times and made sure to ask if we needed another drink or anything else. You are lucky to have her working there. Keep up the great work.
Just left this establishment-rudest waitress I’ve ever encountered. We ordered an appetizer and two plates at 1:00. At 1:45 we still had not gotten anything and asked the waitress how much longer, as we’d been waiting on appetizer that long. She said “soon”, and we asked for our check
For the soft drinks. She got really loud and said “I’ll get my manager then”. There was no need for a manger, we simply cancelled the order and wanted to
Pay for our soft drinks. When we get up to pay, she pulled our appetizer from another table and said “here’s the appetizer “(again LOUD and RUDE) and announced to the other table”they’re mad at me because they had to wait)-not the issue at all. She got EXTREMELY RUDE when we asked to pay. She remarked they were short staffed and I did remark “we should’ve been told that when we ordered”. The waitress took a very simple situation and made it the business of the entire restaurant. I would gladly speak to management about their poor service and rude help.
However, another waitress behind us was doing an amazing job taking care of her customers-she even apologized to us.
I do not recommend this Applebees to anyone. We had Riley as our server she was outrageously rude she is the most awful server there and she was really really really rude!!! I do not recommend going there to eat the food is very bad the boneless wings are dry like rock and it wasn’t good. The service was just awful. The bartender is very loud . The manager Alexis is really rude, and it’s just a kid environment we couldn’t enjoy ourselves eating out at all. We will not be eating there again. The big big big announcement is!!! There was a mom and a son sitting near the bar the mom got alcohol and the bartender joked around with the boy and told him try a sip and the mother let her son try the alcohol and drink it and the bartender was supporting! The bartenders name was Alexis. This is outrageously awful! Letting a kid drink alcohol and supporting him and joking around with it is unacceptable!
There was something in our first drink, something floating in our second drink and a seed in our third drink. Besides that our bartender Michelle was great. The manager on duty sat and talked about the customers and how entitled they were while sitting at the bar. The food was mediocre at best.
Our server, Jacey, was super sweet! She is new to the industry but you can't tell, she was a great server!
Food was good, and the remodel looks great. Love the local prints of the community!
Food was great but even though it was almost empty in the afternoon I had to wait a long time for my food , but it was very good and my server was very nice , I plan on going back soon , the bourbon chicken and shrimp was awesome
Update... Last rated 3 stars a couple of years ago but went again recently and had a better experience hence one more star. My bourbon burger was great and my son loves the baby back ribs. Service was good.
As far as Applebees go this is far better than the other closest one, the one in Bluefield, VA. Generally it's moderately crowded and has alright service depending on the shift. In my opinion the late night service is better almost everyday. The bartenders tend to be pretty quick and good at what they do. One major issue they have is that even when the service is alright they're still dreadfully slow. To make up for it, though the staff rarely messes up the orders. Altogether, not a bad experience.
