My son and I enjoyed lunch here last Sunday. We had the 2 for $25 complete steak dinners. Our orders came in 6 minutes, food was well prepared, and our server was congenial and suggested a fabulous dessert, Blondie with vanilla ice cream and caramel sauce, wonderful. We'll be returning next week for the same thing.
The Server started out great. She was friendly and attentive. The food was very good. We were done and then we waited and waited for our check. Apparently something was happening that the WHOLE STAFF was involved. I FINALLY had to go behind the bar where several servers and the bartender were to ask for our check. I went back to my table and waited a few more minutes for our check. The Server brought our check and did not apologize or say anything. During all of this a manager walked by our table twice but said NOTHING!! Did not ask how our dinner was or even realized we had been sitting there with half my dinner in front of me waiting for a box. I realize things happen with customers that a server needs help with BUT all of the staff. I told the hostess when we left how I felt. Management didn't do their job tonight
Eating good... More like not so good. I got garlic parmasean boneless wing, but when I got them, the plate was covered in grease, health hazard. My fries were soggy. Even though the wings were unhealthily drenched in the sauce, they still managed to be dry. I couldn't continue to eat if I wanted to. I managed to look around and the walls were covered in crayon drawings, the booth was layered in dust, there were leftover crumbs in the seat crevices and the table was sticky. I just hope that the kitchen, where all of this food is prepared, is not as gross as the dining area. I do not recommend eating here for a sit down dinner or lunch. Maybe a small appetizer and sitting outside where I know why the tables and the chairs are dusty.
Nice settings, outdoor sittings available, variety of menus, price is right. The location is convenient but a bit hidden inside the Bardmoor plaza. Friendly staff. But waiting time is longer than the other restaurants.
We were seated quickly. Our server Linda recommended some new yummy lemonade cocktails and they were fantastic.
Our food was delivered quickly and everything tasted great. My son ordered the all you can eat special and Linda was quick to take his next order before he finished his plate. We had a great dining experience. Love Applebees.
Linda was our server. Despite the fact that she had numerous tables (I could tell by counting the servers they were short) she was excellent. I could see no stress in her. She took our order quickly, was very attentive to our drinks, extremely polite, courteous and professional. I would visit this place again strictly because of this server! She’s a true asset to Applebees!!!!
Applebee’s is the place to go late night (after 10pm) for half priced appetizers. I like the chicken wanton tacos. My son wanted an actual meal this time so he got a steak. He said it was decent and ate the whole thing. Served with mashed potatoes and broccoli, it was a solid meal for a reasonable price. They often seem understaffed but their workers do a great job and hustle.
We met with friends for dining and chatting after long time. What was my surprise to see the waitress coming to the table several times and interrupting our time together. If she were so much in a hurry to collect the due, shouldn’t she just say she had to leave the shift and could we pay. Instead, 4 times we had to stop our talk and make sure she knew we are not ready to leave yet. Your ppl need to be trained, the smile is not enough to act as client friendly place.
