The food here and service were great. We stopped in in the middle of the day when it was very slow cold and rainy outside. The weight stuff is very professional and the food came out quick. The restaurant was very clean and well kept.
The food at this Applebees location is absolutely delicious as are the drinks. We did have a slight problem with one of our meals but the manager Nick and the waiter Colby were very helpful in taking care of us. Excellent customer service
We came back to the New Braunfels location to give it another chance. What has happened to Applebee's. They have gone down hill fast. Will be going to Chili's from now on. Terrible. Dirty all around and wrong order. Food was cold, but didn't want to wait any longer. Stay clear of this location unless you want to sit at the bar and drink.
I've been visiting this location for years, and it has consistently gone DOWN HILL every year. Now they are little more than a neighborhood bar where drunks slobber all over each other while drinking. I tried to call in an order for pickup (because the dining area is always nasty), but no one ever answered the phone. The online ordering doesn't work for this store either. So I drove to the store to place my order. I notified the manager that their phone just rang and rang with no answer. The manager said, "Yeah, the ringer is turned off." Unbelievable. At one time, New Braunfels didn't have a surplus of restaurants, so they could get away with poor service. Now, there are plenty of other places that want your business... and clean their restaurant.

Servers wana go home. Mr Trey gave us an attitude as if we were doing him a favor. I told him we can go to I hop and he said whatever ,he had an attitude that made us feel uncomfortable and not welcomed. I have not had applebees in a long time .We got our seat because I had friends showing up so we were unable to leave. So as we were sitted ,and we were waited on a different server ..perhaps after I told Trey that his attitude was unappealing and we felt like we weren't welcomed...We have a new server now..his name is Mathew...he is making our experience a good one so far ..

This chain has been good everytime I've gone. And due to it's distance from me, not that often. We went for Veterans Day and I like that they've been doing this. Our waitress was nice and friendly and very attentive. Would love to go back again soon.
Order online so I didn't have to waste my lunch while waiting for my food. Amazing food and ready right when I walked in. Hot and freshly made. Everything was delicious... Totally recommending ordering food if your on a hour lunch or short lunch break. More time to enjoy your food.
