Extremely disappointing. I haven't been anapplebees regular customer in a few years I don't know why this time I thought the service would be better. I understand why you hire just teenagers but someone have to be in charge to make sure they're doing the job the right way. All I'm saying if you have limited time or just having a rough day find another restaurant & whatever you do don't order carbide to go. Good luck
Food: I ordered the Chicken Quesadilla Salad which was pretty good. We had onion rings as the appetizer which we had to send back because they were badly burned. The second batch wasn't that great but at least it wasn't burned.
Service: we were seated quickly when we arrived. However, it took some time for our waitress to come take our drink orders (and meal orders) because she was also bartending. The service was pretty slow and it made us hesitant to put other orders in because we knew it would take so long to come out.
Ambiance: it was pretty dead in there. Granted we came in on a Tuesday afternoon so that's pretty much to be expected. Nothing special there.
When it came time for the check, that took some time to get and when we did get it we were charged incorrectly for one of the meals and also double charged for the onion rings. When asked about the incorrect charge, the waitress stated that it was the "only way" she could ring the meal up. The menu stated one price but we were charged something different (more). Eventually she was able to charge the correct price and all was well. It should be mentioned though, our waitress was very polite and pleasant during our entire visit.
Overall, this is just an okay place to come for a late night meal or during happy hour if you don't mind long waits for your drinks/order. I feel like Applebees in general has gone downhill and is just becoming "meh".
Oh my goodness let me tell you. My husband and I had a wonderful experience here. We had decided to go to Delaware for the weekend and I was very excited to order my favorite meal (Ribs, Mashed potatoes and broccoli) from one of my favorite restaurant. When our food was delivered a few items was missing from our meal. We called and ended up speaking to the general Manager who
was working the night shift He told us to call that evening and he would make it right. We did as he ask us to he kept his word. and let me tell you he was very professional the food was delicious. Infact this is now my favorite Applebee's too bad they don't deliver to Maryland.
Our server Christina T. was great! Very attentive, good conversation and our order was placed immediately, and received quicker than usual! Christina has a great welcoming personality!
It's always pretty normal when I go. Staff and atmosphere are standard, no one is mean and the floors and tables are clean. Food is Applebee's food. I'm glad it opens late, they don't skimp out on alcohol in the margaritas
12/2/24 Olivia was a wonderful server! She was friendly and knowledgeable! Food and DRINKS were on point also!
8/7/2024: we were taken to our table. Sat and waited over 8 minutes for someone to wait on us, no one came. We decided to leave and a waitress told us we can come and sit in her area. We told her we have waited long enough.. but Thank You. some employees on cell phones and others just conversing. There wasnt even 10 people in the place. Done marked this AppleBee's off our book.
I was seated right away. My server made sure to take care of me. When my food didn't taste good, they swapped it out for something else. The service was really quick. I went in the middle of the day in the week and I would go back again to see if the service is the same on a busy day.
