Resutrant smells vaugely of vomit and feet, and out table area was littered with old napkin and fries, when we called ahead before arrival. Food was fine, its Applebees. But the servicr could do with serious improvement. Our waitress was running around like a chicken with her head cut off while other servers were drinking ag the bar. It took over an our for one plate of Spicy boneless wings and they just kept brining out bowls of fries and food we did not order. We consistently got inorrect and cold orders. My onion rings were cold, and it took constant pestering to get a drink that was sitting at the bar for 30mins.
Thank you for honoring Veterans w/ a free meal yesterday and a discount everyday!!!! Very much appreciated!!! Never seen the restaurant as full as it was yesterday, Veterans Day, and all the staff was amazing!! Hustling and bustling to take care of all the guests. Missed not having the Steak dinner available this year but everything was still delicious. Thanks again for honoring veterans!!????????????????????
Went to Applebee's Wed. We were seated right away, our waitress/server was very friendly. Got our drinks and ordered. We ordered from the appetizer and 2 entrée deal. The app ( we chose onion rings) were really good, they use real onions and a full coating of breading, and came with ranch and bbq sauce for dip. For entrée Allison had the bourbon street stead and I had the salmon. The steak was juicy and very tender, served with taters (red mashed) and the steak was seasoned nice. My salmon came with broccoli and taters. The salmon was cooked to perfection, cooked, juicy and tasty. Thank you to our waitress and staff.
We went for a late Valentine's day. For appetizers my husband got the nachos and I got the combo platter that came with mozzarella sticks, chicken quesadillas, boneless wings and chip with a spinach artichoke cheese dip. Both very yummy. For dinner I had the Lime Chicken and my husband had the chicken with shrimp. My husband said his was ok. But that the steaks are better. Mine was delicious although my spanish rice was cold. I had a Passion Fruit Margarita that was so tasty. I unfortunately cannot remember our waitress' name but she was very nice and attentive. Friendly atmosphere. Not super busy. We spaced out our orders for appetizers and our dinner so that everything came spaced out as to not get too full. Definitely a great spot to eat and enjoy some time together.
Our server, Teresa, was fantastic! She had a great personality, offered great suggestions, and was willing to make our visit as enjoyable as possible. Drinks were amazing! The kitchen, on the other hand, seemed challenged. The appetizers came out great, but the burgers were all over the place! The simple bacon cheeseburger was ordered WELL/DEAD, was sent out pink. The Bourbon bacon cheeseburger was ordered pink, and the onions grilled. It arrived WELL and raw onions. The swiss mushroom burger was ordered pink and came out pink with a side of grilled onions! The fries were great.
Thankfully, no one had any health issues from this calamity, and the simple bacon cheeseburger was remade to order.
Many thanks to Teresa for making our visit fun and allowing us to color the Halloween picture while we waited! Wish we could have signed it to you, but we did sign and date the picture. Happy Halloween to all!
I was in town for a couple of weeks, and I ate here three times during the visit to Klamath Falls. Two times were awesome and deserve 5 stars across the board. However, one of the servers was really bad. She was very friendly but way too animated and would rush around. She came back several times to confirm our drinks (did you want sweet tea) but didn't bring them for a long time. If the place was busy, this would be understandable, but there was only one other couple there, and she wasn't even helping them. I don't know if she was on something or what but we watched as she'd quickly walk out of the kitchen, around the bar, and then back into the kitchen - sometimes she would stop by our table to say something about the drinks (I'll have your tea out shortly, did you want sweetner?) then rush back to the kitchen - we started betting on how many more laps she'd make before she'd stop back by. Eventually, we did get our drinks and our food, but it was after several laps. I got tired just watching her. Maybe she was trying to get her steps in, but it seemed more likely that she was hopped up. Regardless, we did receive our food eventually, and as I mentioned earlier, it was delicious. I would say that if your waitress is overly animated and you see her doing laps, just go sit somewhere else or leave because you're in for a long wait.
Food is OK, and we were waiting for a pretty long time to have our order. However the restaurant team was doing their best to feel us good, so I decided to give 5 stars anyway. People is the most important part of any restaurant experience for me.
Thank you Applebee's! Thanks to you I'm missing playing in my bowling league tonight. I was looking forward to having a little date day with my husband, but instead I had the worst experience I have ever had in any restaurant. I ordered coffee and a chicken sandwich with fries. The server gives me what's supposed to be coffee and I put my creamer and sweetener in it and take a sip. Turns out it's Tea. I wanted to make sure so I had my husband taste it, yep tea. I told the waiter. Accidents happen I wasn't going to make a big deal about it or anything. It takes awhile to get our food. I start eating a couple fries, they taste really old and stale. I'm thinking maybe I'm being picky and try my chicken burger. I then try and drink some of the coffee that they "replaced" turns out it was a mixture of the tea and coffee. Next thing I know I'm running to the bathroom and throwing up. I couldn't eat anymore and had to leave my husband inside and ran to my car and continued getting sick.
