The price for the loaded mashed potatoes and the amount of ingredients is not worth it. Green beans were good, but thought there would be a bit more. Alfredo: broccoli and cheese tasted off. Rest was ok, but a tad dry. Not much sauce. Basket of Waffle Fries were yummy.
When arriving to pick up my order for 1 person on GrubHub I waited 10 minutes and had nobody even attempt to help me. Someone walked in to pickup an order and was immediately given their food and they finally acknowledged me. I asked for a small amount of BBQ sauce for the grilled chicken breast I got. The manager couldn't provide any without charging me . 50 for it. I declined. The garlicky green beans didn't even have a hint of garlic on them. I would suggest eating anywhere else besides this Applebee's.
My sisters and I went in for some wings not really expecting much! But they were absolutely delicious! You can tell they were freshly made and had the perfect amount of sauce! Or server was amazing, he kept our drinks filled without being asked and made sure our food came out perfectly! The manger Nathan also came out to see how we were doing which I thought was awesome! Definitely one of the better Applebee’s in town!
The young man that waited on us was great! I believe his name was Ace. Very apologetic due to him being the ONLY waiter on a Saturday. You could tell he was very overwhelmed but he stayed friendly through out. Kitchen staff and hostess helped him. Didn't see a Manager there. Food was slow to come out but then there was no staffing. Give Ace a bonus! No one should have to wait tables alone on a weekend.
So basically i waited 2 hours just to order when there was little to no people other than myself,I ordered chicken alfredo and the first time is was dry so i sent it back,second time the noodles weren’t even cooked!!! You can see this in the photo.then the manager wanted to be rude due to me making a complaint,mind you we waited 2 hours!!! Might as well just make a homecooked meal, come here at the risk of uncooked food and bad customer service….
Very, very poor service at dinner last night. Several tables walked out due to slow service. We were waiting about 10-15 minutes before being greeted and then it took 30 minutes for our bar drinks to come out. What's worse is the kids' sprites took 10 minutes after that to reach our table. Half of the adults' food came out about 45 minutes after ordering, and then the kids' food came out 5 minutes after that. One kid did not get their food, and we had to tell our waiter and manager twice before something was done about it. Overall, it was a very poor experience. I spoke to the manager about what we experienced, and he seemed to not care about serving cold food and having terrible service. Luckily, I'm visiting from out of state because I would never come back to this location. There was another table complaining about being there for 30 minutes and hasn't received their food, and the manager responded with waving his hand and saying go ahead and leave.
Absolutely amazing and friendly staff! We got the Bacon Ranch Crispy chicken sandwich, which came with fries, and the meat nachos, and they came out super fast within ordering, and the food was hot, fresh, and delicious!!! Some of the nicest staff I have ever experienced!!! We worked with the Captain, I didn't catch her name, but she was kind, patient, and very, VERY personable! Some of the best service in Wichita!
They appeared to be short handed so I understand the bad service but at the same time they weren't that busy and it was bad. My boyfriend and I went for dinner last night and our waiter was slow at taking our order and after we placed it it took almost 20 minutes to get our food. He got my order wrong and the mashedpotatoes and broccoli were both cold. My boyfriends fries were cold and he said that his coleslaw was extremely dry. I sent my food back and when I finally got it my steak was over cooked but by that point I didn't care because I was hungry. I will not be going back. I was a little embarrassed because I bragged on how good Applebee's was to my boyfriend who never been to one. I'm ashamed this was his first experience.
