Amazing experience even around midnight, four star only due to the time of service- took around 35 mins after order to get our food. However food was really delicious and well cooked. Specially the waiter mentioned about their newly hand-breaded chicken, which was great and worthy of the wait. Loved the ambiance, ample seating and parking. I would definitely recommend this restaurant in the area.

Waited 10 minutes for a table (around 9 pm on a saturday).
We ordered the sirloin promo. Sirloin was well done in some parts (we asked for medium). Overall the food was okay.
We payed through the app (very easy to use).
Applebees located just outside of the small dry town of Rexburg. We headed over since it was the only place open after 7 and that served alcohol . Arrived and were seated promptly. It then took a good 15 minutes for any kind of service after we flagged the bartender . She had no idea what ingredients were in the drinks only knowing it's a pre mix. I should have expected nothing less . After that our server appeared and things got better. Food was good for the price and expectations of Applebee's . The premix drink which was a margarita was very good all things considering. I probably would not go back to Rexburg but if you do, Applebee's is your way choice ????
Service seemed slightly disinterested and absent with us but they up for it with speediness and accuracy. While the food was pretty middle of the pack, we still enjoyed ourselves and the fun atmosphere makes up for it.
First time dining in at Applebee’s, my husband and I had a fairly pleasant experience! It was during lunch, and it was not too busy. We beat the crowd and came before it starts getting busier. Our server is very kind and keeps checking in on us. She helped with answering questions about the menu.
As for the food, the fish and chips are the best! The fish is very adequately salted and is crispy. The fries are still hot and crispy as well, though I think it can be a little less salty. I got the Four Cheese Penne with Honey Pepper Tenders. I think it was ok. I wished the cheese flavor was stronger. It feels almost quite bland to me. The bread was good. However, I have to say the chicken tenders were delicious! It’s sweet, and I wish they sell a separate dish with just the honey tenders.
As for the dessert; Triple Chocolate Meltdown was very yummy! It’s very sweet, but the ice cream kind of balanced it out, which is great! It also came out hot, so that’s great as well.
Will definitely come back again because it’s the best fish and chips I’ve had in Rexburg!
Arrived at 10:35 and the doors were locked. Called and spoke to staff first and was told it was so the cooks had time to clean up and staff as well. Asked to speak to a manager and the manager said it was his first night and there was an injury with a cook and they didn’t have the staff. I understand things happen and emergencies occur. Staffing issues are not my problem and typically manager can fulfill any position within the restaurant ad needed to assist staff. My issue is with driving 35 minutes and finding out they are closed and being offered a gift card like I have so many times before when there have been issues and never receiving one!
Applebee's has some good food, but this once I made the mistake of getting the happy hour, half priced appetizers. The cheese sticks and boneless wings aren't the greatest.
And I'm pretty sure boneless wings aren't wings at all. Just chicken nuggets with sauce. ????
Hannah gave us great service last night. Thank you Hannah! The food was yummy - we enjoyed the 50% off apps after 900 pm too! I tried the wanton tacos and they were delicious. The others had boneless wings, nachos and friend mozzarella sticks. All were pleased. The place seemed cleaned and welcoming. I will go again.
