I had the pleasure of being served by Valentina, and she truly went above and beyond! She was attentive, refilled our drinks promptly without us even having to ask, and made sure our table stayed clean by clearing away dirty plates quickly. Her friendly smile and positive energy made our dining experience so much better. Highly recommend asking for her when you visit!
I have read the reviews... but our experience here and our first time here to this location, we had no complaints, and the food was delicious.
My daughters and I recently visited the Applebee's in Santa Ana while my husband was in the ER at UCI. Our server, Pierce, was absolutely amazing! He was attentive, friendly, and made our experience exceptional during a stressful time.
We started with the amazing cheese bites, which were a delicious appetizer. My girls ordered the Bacon Ranch Chicken Sandwich and the Chicken Penne Pasta, both of which they loved. I had the chicken breast dinner, and it was cooked to perfection. Every dish was delicious!
Loved that we were able to pay our bill at the table, which helped save time. Things seemed clean, and there were quite a few people here later in the evening, which made it nice. Not too crowded and not empty.
Thank you, Applebee's, and especially Pierce, for providing such great service and food. It truly made a difference for us last night at a stressful time. Again, thank you, Pierce!!!

Overall, i started at a 3/5. The food was a pleasant surprise, and our waitress was nice and friendly. This was not just fine dining. This was dining at its finest. 4/5
We came in a busy Saturday night. Many customers complained for the long service. Waitress lack of attention, unless you speak Spanish. Food portions are small for a main course (the reality looks so much different from the picture)
This place has wonderful food and is priced reasonably well. The waiter was super nice. Though the manager may need to train there staff a little more regarding service dogs. They tried to place me outside because I had my medical alert service dog and it was cold and no one was outside. I had asked the waiter why they were sitting us outside and she said it was because of the dog which was vested which stated service dog. I asked kindly to speak to the manager and they fixed it right away. I don't like causing a scene but I did not want to be outside and the only one outside plus my service dog is allowed inside. He lays down under the table to the whole derstion of the visit and watches me from under the table doing his job. Well the manager informed the waiter I was indeed allowed inside the establishment and the outside was for people who had pets. Service dogs are not considered pets. Just a little more training for new hires is all that is needed. The team was very nice and the good was great. I would come back again in the future.

I visited several times recently and each time we had great service and food was good! First time Leah helped us and she was great. Went back a few days later since the food was so good and Valentyna helped us. I was happy that each time we have such good service. I will be returning because these girls give the best service.
I had a terrible experience here. Last time I came here was about a year ago with my bf, and we had such a good time we came back with friends twice, this time after we went to the Round 1 in the same shopping center we were really looking forward to dinner.
We waited 50 minutes for our food to be served.
We saw our waitress check in with the table behind us (who already had their food) 3 times but she never gave us any updates or let us know, which I know it wasn't her fault the food was taking so long I just think she could have communicated better. We sat there wondering if they forgot about us for about 30 mins so I had to go up to someone else and ask if they could check. They didn't even apologize, just acted like this was a normal happening. 50 minutes is too long... my salmon came out and it was fine. My friend ordered the chicken tenders, which had a smaller portion than I remembered, I felt really bad. Not worth a 50 min wait.
Then ribs and fries came out, and the ribs were ALL BONE, it was ridiculous. Not like that last time so I asked of they could switch the bones with actual food (in a nicer way ofc, I didn't say that) but our server was like "nope they were always like that" and didn't even try talking with the kitchen to see so we had to send them back and just canceled that order. Pics included. I have never seen ribs so thin before. They were $18 by the way. My friends and I were upset, I'd wanted us to have a good time and told them about this place before... my friend didn't want to send them back but the rest of us insisted she did because it was so bad, so not just my opinion. I don't know what happened (it wasn't even very busy) but in the span of a year it's changed so much, I won't be going back.
