I recently visited Applebee's for the first time at this location, and I was thoroughly impressed! The service was smooth and efficient, and the food was really delicious. I tried the 'Dos Hombres' agave and 'The Rock' tequila for the first time, and while both were good, 'The Rock' was my clear favorite - its flavor was exceptional! The atmosphere was lively and welcoming, and the staff were friendly and attentive. Overall, I had a great experience at Applebee's and would definitely recommend it to others. Looking forward to my next visit!
My wife and I have tried eating at the Defiance location a few times thinking things may get better since Covid. First it was lack of staff, then poor staff and yesterday the food was on the cold side and very small portions. We made the decision to never eat at this restaurant again. They should really close the doors and let a real restaurant open up.
We were served an appetizer plate with no plates for us to use. We were served our steaks with no knives. When the knives were brought, they didn't bring the butter requested. They gave one serving of butter for us to share. ..My kids waited quite a while with no drink refills while eating. The waitresses were having a nice time talking with each other the bar.
I went for my 21st birthday after working all day to get half apps and drinks. And no offense to them as people but honestly really bad service. I got ID’d not surprised had it out she told me happy birthday all good so far. Then as my drink is called out I say it’s mine and the manager asks for my ID again. Also fine whatever double check. Just to hold and inspect it for what seemed like forever and literally scratch at it. Then said okay in a snotty tone and handed me the drink. Rest of the meal went basically the same. My fiancé and dad didn’t even get one pop refill and we were there over an hour while the tables around us who were sat after were already getting their food. It’s a Tuesday and they were not busy at all. I got 2 drinks the whole night and it honestly ruined my birthday for me
Went for lunch alone. Restaurant was not too busy. Short on waitresses, but those that were working were quick and efficient. I ordered my usual French Onion soup with Oriental Chicken a salad. Soup was good, but crispy chicken in salad was overcooked. Yes, I'll still go back!
Food was came out correct and it was pretty good for the price. The space was clean, though service was a little slow for it being a busy Saturday night. Overall pretty good experience.
The staff was very accommodating to work with two in our group of 7 with special food needs. There's not a lot of options for larger groups to dine here, so it was very difficult to get in/out of our table in a tiny corner. Overall, good food and service.
I had the pleasure of ordering the grilled chicken breast. My gaud, man, they must of pulled the driest piece of chicken breast patty from the back of the freezer and thrown it in the microwave and onto the grill to give it grill lines and onto the plate to my table. The essence of cardboard, cardboard probably tastes better. mas, no mas. ????????
