The atmosphere was nice.. it wasn't very busy when we got there.. our waitress was nice but was very busy training a new person plus doing alot of tables.. the food was ok.. my burger was not well done like I asked and the bun seemed a bit stale
Absolutely loved this place! Everyone was friendly and happy. The service was excellent. We didn't wait long for our drinks or food. The food came out hot and tasted great. The waitress stopped by to check on us a few times, always polite and smiling. After a long drive it was a nice place to sit and enjoy. The Fiesta Lime Chicken was a new one for me and I loved it! The basket Waffle fries and onion rings were done just right; not too crunchy or soggy etc.
The staff worked very hard to talk about great service and delivered mediocrity. The food was okay. Prices are high for what you get.(low value)
It wasn’t terribly busy when we arrived. We were seated right away. It took our waitress over 15 minutes to even greet us and take our drink order, which by that time we already knew what we wanted to eat. Our drinks didn’t arrive until after our appetizer. Which it was just lemonade, so it wasn’t like we needed to wait for a bartender to make the drinks.
The mozzarella sticks were barely warm. I got the quesadilla burger and the burger was broken up inside the quesadilla and like they just hoped the cheese would hold it together. The Alfredo had very little sauce.
An incredibly disappointing visit. And I know we weren’t the only ones who felt that way. The table next to us ordered a drink to have with their meal and it wasn’t brought to their table until they had already eaten their food. The eye roll from the bartender when she walked away after she dropped it off was pretty uncalled for.
We had a large group of 8 on a Sunday afternoon. We were seated immediately and received great service. The food was awesome and had all you can eat soup and salad for $8.99!!
Had to wait 15 minutes to get seated. Restaurant was more than half empty. Took forever to get our orders taken. Had to ask 3 times for refill on drinks. Food was awful. Took 2 bites of double crispy shrimp that was soggy and you could wring out the grease. My sister found a long blond hair in her meal. Ordered chicken nuggets to replace it. Never got her nuggets. Worse experience I've had in a restaurant. And, it was my siblings Christmas celebration. My sister, who was paying for the meal, was the one who ended up not eating. She went to McDonald's afterwards and got a burger. I'm surprised it's still open. And, I now understand why over half the restaurant was empty. This is not the type of service that you go back for. One and done.
So, I don’t normally leave reviews. My sister and I got the shrimp bourbon chicken with the garlic mash potatoes. We are not big on the shrimp so we asked to have it taken off. I asked if we could substitute broccoli for the shrimp, thinking it would be cheaper then the shrimp anyway so no big deal right?
The manager comes out here and explains to me, “ to make me happy that he is willing to do that just apple bees don’t do that.”
I’ve been to plenty of other restaurants that do that no problem. The way he was talking to me, it just made me feel uncomfortable and made it awkward.
The food was good, and the waitress was good.
If it wasn’t for the fact that my sister and I had been traveling all day and were tired, I actually would have just walked out.
I don’t think I want to come back.
First time to Applebee's. Large portions. Very salty (everything). Friendly fast service. Food was okay. Lots of unfinished plates. Big portions for the cost but not super high quality. Lots of options though. Probably won't eat here again.
