Had a good dinner with friends at Applebee's.
We had the Fiesta Lime Chicken, Asian Chicken Salad, Chicken/ Bacon Sandwich, and cheese sticks appetizer.
All good.
I hadn't had the Fiesta Lime Chicken in years, it was as good as I remembered.
All the food was good!
Service was ok, yeah, just ok.
We ordered the cheese sticks appetizer. The server said they were on special by the piece. Asked if we wanted the appetizer?
We said yes, the appetizer. There were 8 in the appetizer. They were on special for 50 cents each. She charged us for the more expensive app. WHY DID SHE EVEN ASK? We didn't know it would have been cheaper... why would anyone insist on paying more for the same. She should have been more clear.
Anyway, the food was good, the tea was good, and we had a nice time.
Me and family have been sitting here for over an hour. Our service is complete crap we had to ask multiple times for refills. I asked for a medium rare steak. When I cut into it, it was well done. My daughter has been out of lemonade for over 30 mins we have asked 4 different times for it. Complete crap of service.......
Applebee's. Always a classic. The Nixa location has a homey local feel. Waitress was friendly and got our drinks and order quickly. Food was all hot and tasty!
Note from one of the previous reviews - it appears they've put down all new carpet so the smell issues seems to be fixed.
Just a personal fave - because I like to be DJ - they have Touch Tunes

I quit going to Applebee’s several years ago when the menu changed, but I saw on the menu. There was more side and vegetable choices again, and since I am working overnights in Nixa, I thought I would try curbside from the parking lot. I called the number on the sign listed. It was incorrect then I noticed there was a different number on the larger sign. I called that one I was able to use the automated to place my order. Some of the things were not available at this location, so I picked other things to replace it was 7:40 PM and it said my order would be ready at 8:04 PM all it was was an order of garlic, mashed potatoes and an order of steamed broccoli at 8 o’clock three other cars pulled up for curbside. I waited until 812 before giving up. So no, I have no idea how the food was because I never got it.
We usually have a decent time at this location . How ever. We had to wait a bit to be seated mind you this was not a busy night. As soon as it we walked it it was very nasty smelling. The rag and bowl they use to wash table was sitting on the serice desk and it was smelling so bad. When the host did sit use the "clean" table" was so sticky and had a smell it made us literally lose our appetite to eat there. We got up and left before out waitress came. We have eaten there a few times but it was very nasty times and we wont be back.
We had a great date night here. We both got the 4 cheese Mac with honey pepper chicken tenders. OMFG the tenders were fire. The Mac was ~eh~ because of thin/very little sauce. Got the peach sangria and that was also *chefs kiss. Great experience overall.
Great place to eat! Michael did a PHENOMENAL JOB taking care of us! Food was outstanding and the buckets were smooth! You guys rock!
