Pinkest burger I've ever gotten from a restaurant. Asked for well done and it arrived damn near raw. Excuse the picture quality, the burger is already in my trash can.
The food here is very good! I ordered the Whisky Bacon Burger and my partner ordered the 6oz Top Sirloin.
Initially, when my burger arrived, it came with a giant piece of lettuce on the bottom, which is not like the picture at all, but I didn't let it put me off. Sure enough, the burger was delicious, really juicy, tasty, crispy pieces of onion and delicious bacon and a sweet sauce, but it also got very soggy quickly. The fries were well seasoned, but a little too salty for my tastes.
My partner's Top Sirloin was divine. When I tried a bite, I was so impressed with the flavours and the texture. The broccoli on the side was also great tasting, well seasoned!
We also ordered Crispy Onion Rings as an appetizer and I got a Long Island Iced Tea to drink.
The onion rings were good, but no flavour on the rings themselves and they relied too heavily on the BBQ sauce on the side to add taste. I personally also would've preferred a variety of sauce options, like a spicy mayo, for example.
The Long Island was nothing to write home about. It was fine, but not good. In contrast with the food, the drink was definitely disappointing.
The only thing that was kind of interesting, veering on bizarre, is that they were doing job interviews in the main dining hall. I thought that was a bit weird, how some of the people waiting for interviews would just be staring at you while you're trying to enjoy your lunch. At the very least, they could be doing the interviews in a more secluded part of the restaurant, but they were in the middle.
Still, the most important part, the food, was very good so I would highly recommend this restaurant! The wait staff were also very attentive
One word. Horrendous.
Steak is black on one side and overcooked. Broccoli was like mush. Spinach dip was oily and tasted old. Boneless wings were dripping with grease.
Get some new cooks. If I'm not sick tomorrow I'll be very surprised.
Our go to place for eat that doesn’t cost much. Always consistent with the food. The service depends on the server that you get. Overall great experience. It does get pretty busy during lunch hour. If you don’t like waiting, go in as soon they open. Average wait was 20-30 minutes which is fine since you can walk around the mall while you wait.
Always have loved this restaurant! As a veteran they treat us better than anyone else on veterans day. Unfortunately I can't afford this or many other places that have jacked their prices so high. I used to love Bourbon Street Steak for $9.99 now its over $20 sadly.
It took us quite a minute of sitting at the bar for the tender to come give our menus, she was busy chatting which was very unpleasant, I can absolutely understand taking a moment to chat, but we waited almost 10 minutes after getting there before even seeing menus at the bar sitting right behind the tender. The drinks were great, again staff took a tremendous amount of time to get to us again to get us new drinks, regardless of the restaurant seeming to be having a slow night. Overall the drinks were great, the wait was horrible.
Our waitress was horrible. Never ckd on us, when I requested a refill on my coffee she never asked if I wanted more creamer or sugar, and the coffee was cold. I ordered soup and she brought me a teaspoon, when I asked for a soup spoon her response was they didn't have any that were clean. Unbelievable. I couldn't even finish my food, we left very unhappy will not be returning
As is often the case at Applebee's, food, service and atmosphere were excellent. We ordered those Bacardi bucket drinks and they were great. We also ordered half price appetizers and they were all good.
