Your average American restaurant with classic menu items and a bar that decent, but not consistent, drinks. Service was decent even though it appeared understaffed. Happy hour only applies to appetizers, and that's alright. Appetizer presentation is without frills and if that's what you get during regular hours, a little sad. But, as half-price apps, makes a good base for drinking. Spinach artichoke dip had a cheesy crust that could not be stirred in. If you're sharing it, only one person is getting that cheese (and in my case, that person was me ????????).
My server was awesome! Checked back with us several times with a gorgeous smile & made sure we had everything we needed. I hadn't been at a sit down restaurant in a long time, but this was a great experience. Thank you ????
We went last Thursday and it was incredible. So much better now there is a person in charge. Everyone was staying busy. Food was great and everyone is so nice. If anyone is like me and stopped going cause how bad the entire crew was before please give this new crew a chance. Well worth it. I'll be back soon
Went in with my wife and son for a bite to eat. First waited 5 minutes to see the hostess, she was nice but seemed bothered that people came in. She had to clean a table for us to be sat. Finally seated and waited 20 to finally be seen by our server Hadrian. We already knew everything we wanted to order so we made it easy for him and gave him everything, because we were already irritated so we wanted to get out but our son was hungry, took our order and another table was sat while we waited for our food THEY ended up walking out because Hadrian hadn’t even taken their drink order within 15. We finally got our food which was okay, after waiting 30 minutes but we never saw Hadrian after we got our food, until we were already done eating and just wanted to leave. Took about 15 minutes after we were done, asked for 2 boxes and the check. WAITED ANOTHER 10 minutes to finally get those. At that point my wife just took our son to the car and waited out there. When finally received check and boxes I handed him my card and just said get me out of here. Came back 10 minutes later for me to finally leave. BTW THEY WERENT BUSY. Also never saw the manager. This was terrible service and my wife and I were servers ourselves and we were both disappointed. I will not be returning here.
Food is 1 star. Service is disappointing. Atmosphere is disgusting. Gave them a second chance and still was a horrible experience. First time, my fork wasn’t cleaned and I had a hair in my mashed potatoes. Second time, There was an ANT on our table!! Disgusting. The waiter was nice but took forever for everything to come out. Even as small as to-go boxes. It was already 9 pm I had a long day I just wanted to relax and sit at a restaurant and enjoy my food but I couldn’t. Been going here for 5 years since living here and it’s sad because I was hoping Applebee’s would do better from the first time since there is hardly any other “good” restaurants in town. Another one down. You can go and see for yourself.
Two years ago I had only good things to say about this location. Now my recommendation is to avoid. Especially if you are looking to pick up a to go order. There is no pride in the food. It looks sad, tastes sad, and is in general disappointing. My family ordered to go tonight because most of us are sick and didn’t have the energy to cook ourselves. And before anyone gets any ideas about us getting this stuff when we’re sick, none of us are sick to our stomachs. More running fevers and with sore throats.
I just want it to be said that if you order an appetizer that isn’t a specific count of items like mozzarella sticks, which we also got, it will be maybe a quarter the size of what you get in the restaurant. We got the Brew Pub Loaded Waffle Fries and they were as pictured below. Additionally we did not receive any sauces, both the included sauce and the additional ranch cups WHICH WE PAID FOR. The only extra sauce we did get, we didn’t even ask for. An extra order of Alfredo sauce for my sister’s pasta.
Now I don’t know about others but we are very picky about combining textures and flavors and Alfredo on fries or hot wings just isn’t it. Maybe I’ll call the store tomorrow but tonight we’re all just tired and want to eat what we have in peace. And yes we did eat it. Because we were hungry and something is better than nothing.
So yeah. Beware.
Waited almost 10 minutes at the door to be greeted . When we finally were , it was met with the most lazy demeanor. Waited to be greeted almost 20 minutes at the table , no one came so we finally left . I’m a server and my restaurant does not Allow anyone not greeted for more then 45 seconds, even if someone else has to grab the drinks . This is utterly the worst experience I’ve had . We went elsewhere and glad we did!
Got our appetizers but no plates, silverware, or napkins. Asked the waitress for napkins but she never brought them.
Service was slow, had to ask for refill etc... Waitress was training a new waitress so tried to be patient.
Finally had to ask an employee for the manager. Waitress came to apologize. Seems she was training a new employee but she'd only been working there two days!
Manager came over, she hadn't worked yesterday, somebody didn't show up etc....
Waitresses were trying their best. Poor managment.
