We are locals and decided to try this Applebees again. We were seated promptly and the server (Haley) took our order quickly. Another family came in 10 minutes later and was seated across from us with a different server. Within 10 minutes more they had their appetizer while we still hadn't gotten ours which was the same appetizer. I asked about our appetizer and was told they were working on it. I asked for sweet and low for my iced tea. After a while it was finally delivered. We got our meal and still no appetizer. Had to ask for ketchup. Finished our meal and STILL no appetizer. The family across from us had their server stop by twice to ask how everything was while ours never stopped to ask us even once. The fries were lukewarm at best and not fresh. Sadly I will not be back there or recommend this restaurant to anyone.
My mom and I were out and decided to get lunch at Applebee's. Our waitress, a manager, but I can't remember her name, waited on us. She was so polite, informative, and very helpful! We just moved here from NJ, and she was telling us about the area and all the great features around. It was really nice to have someone spend a few minutes out of their busy day to help us get to know the area. The food was amazing, but our waitress was the best part of our visit!!!!
Painfully slow service. Waited ten minutes for drinks and nearly half an hour for our appetizers. Side items were forgotten multiple times. Food was cold and over cooked, all around incredibly subpar.
Food and atmosphere were fine but the service, though polite, was incredibly, teeth-grindingly slow. Only two other tables occupied, two servers plus host were present plus the bartender so it was ridiculous. Just to get our first drink took 30 mins. Just over two hours for salads and steaks, no appetizers, party of 2.
Came in here tonight and this is by far the worst Applebees I’ve ever been to. This page isn’t long enough to list all of the things that made this establishment an absolute failure. Our waitress Brittany needs to find herself a new career because waiting on people isn’t it. She took a whole hour to bring us drinks, straws and silverware and 45 minutes to take our order. She then comes to ask how our meal is after 2 hours of waiting. How can we eat it without eating utensils? She then takes another 20 minutes to retrieve it and by then our food was cold. She acknowledges that she has been absent, forgetful, serving us poorly so she says “I wish it could be better but I’m sorry” before disappearing again. I watched the manager walk behind every table she waited on to apologize for their horrible dining experience and issue several refunds. What a nightmare! The service was poor at best and the food is trash. It’s safe to say we will not be returning.
I honestly feel like this entire lunch dining experience wasn’t good. I do believe the entire restaurant only had 1 person waiting tables and clearly isn’t something they do often. Appetizer wasn’t brought out until after our lunch entrees, which all had cold fries were served. I’ve never had my drink refilled and my cup be gone from the table for 10 minutes. Didn’t write down any of our 4 orders, so of course the following were missing: 1) our appetizer 2) Mayo 3) Honey Mustard. Seemed more interested in trying to pre-sale beers, not quite the best time with my wife, aunt & 4 year old granddaughter which our waiter referred to as “kid”. The $6 discount I was given I’m sure was a small price to pay for Applebee’s with the massive labor savings. The restaurant had no music and zero atmosphere, not sure I wanna come back…
Ate there later in the evening. Was out of multiple food and drink. Ran out of drinks at table. Employees in back were cussing the whole time we were there. Left a small tip and the manager came out being rude to us about what I left. I will never eat at this place again. The most ridiculous thing I have ever seen in my life
We stopped in this afternoon after a long crazy day of traveling. I want to start with saying our server, Sydney was sent straight from Heaven. We came in rambling about life problems and we quickly realized she was a genuine person. She cared about what we had to say and simply because of that we will be back everyday while we stay here. Thank you Sydney for showing us that there are still genuine, kind, good people out there. Great server and great food! Will be requesting her again!
