Food was great, we got the spicy chicken sandwich, the mushroom burger, pasta that I completely forgot the name of but it was really good and then a bacon cheeseburger.
Went out with five of my friends, waitress and waiter were fairly welcoming and cracking jokes often, lightening up our mood and not being afraid to strike up a conversation. The service was overall great, the waitress made helpful recommendations when it came to what we were ordering, telling us certain incentives of the food, especially the All-You-Can-Eat wings (12.99). My friends all enjoyed their food as well. The food, table and lights were all aesthetically pleasing, although one of the faucets in the bathroom did not work. They also offered a $5 coupon to shave off your next meal here for donating $5 to the cancer fundraiser they were doing, which I gladly participated in. Overall, I can’t wait to come back! It was delicious and certainly satisfying.
The food was great, but they seemed to be out of a lot of items. The air conditioner was blasting, and it wasn't even hot out. Just about everyone in there was complaining about how cold it was inside. It made it uncomfortable to enjoy our meal. The service was OK. We had to repeatedly ask for silverware and napkins. That was a bit annoying. We ended up taking the good to go because it was so frigid in the place. Overall, it was decent, but they leave much to be desired. I will say my entrée was pretty tasty. I had the bourbon chicken and shrimp.
Ate here tonight for the first time in quite a while. This location is older and in need of remodeling. The service was decent but the food not so much. I got the Bourbon chicken and shrimp. It was all onions and little chicken. We ordered a Bahama Mama drink which needed more alcohol. The meal was overpriced as well. The portions are much smaller than I remember in the past. I would not recommend this location and probably won’t be back.
I wanted something simple local and good. This Applebee’s exceeded our expectations. Amy and her team were simply phenomenal from the food, beverages, cleanliness and overall atmosphere. It’s great to see some restaurants still understand customer service.
Started out tasty, but didn't end well...
Mashed potatoes lacked flavor. Seemed to be be overcooked, same with the Salmon. A dash of mayo would have helped for the mashed potatoes.
The lime chicken, at first bite is great but then as a torpedo, a vinegar tastes hits hard. I don't know if it is the sauce or vinegar was added but it was overpowering!
Bathroom were well maintained.
Another petty personal peeve, no bottled water. During Covid glass water but no bottled water? WTBLEEP!
Customer Service was excellent.
Return Factor, 0%.... If the basics, bottled water, are missing, not for me.
My meal was hands down awful. My burger had so much grease. You can see with the added pictures. The napkin is just soaked with grease. I couldn't even eat my French Fries because they soaked up all the grease from the burger as well. My bottom bun just fell apart and became all mushy because of all the grease. It's like the cook just dumped my burger in a bucket of grease before they served it up. For 11.00 bucks I do expect a decent well put together burger like I would of got if I went to like 5 guys or Red Robbins. I was very disappointed. I will say my waitress was really nice. That's all I have to say.
I do a lot of reviews and I hate leaving bad reviews, but whoever made my burger today needs to be slapped across the face for sitting this hot grease cake on my plate.
Service started out good but then took a 180 after we received our initial order. We arrived as the only patrons at the bar with only 4 to 5 tables occupied at around 1800 hours (we should have paid better attention to the indicator but we were hungry). The bar wasn't very clean, and the bartender cleaned only our area after we sat down. We introduced ourselves in an effort to establish a relationship.
After receiving our order, it took a bit to get the bartender's attention as she was busy on her phone. I didn't finish my meal, as I had no water and my drink was empty (as was the ketchup dispenser, but maybe I didn't need ketchup?). I fully understand folks need to connect with family while at work, etc., although not all of us are able to connect to family from work. Only recommend management cover down on customers if the bartender and/or wait staff is busy.
Again, there were perhaps only a dozen folks in the entire restaurant. I worked in restaurants before joining the Army, and I was constantly checking on folks and checking the area. Not a sermon...just some thoughts.
Realizing it was just Applebee's, and not "fancy like" some other local spots, but you can be awesome if your service is!
