Update: Management reached out immediately and immediately made it right. Management apologized for my experience and I felt they were sincere. I hope no one else experience what I went thru and have a wonderful experience when visiting this restaurant. I am going to up my review to a 3 because of management.
I had the worst experience at this Applebee's today. I have sent an email so that it reaches the GM. The server was awesome so I can't include her. But the host, the table we sat and the beverage situation are my rant. I end up getting my food to go. Got home and the sauce was not plentiful on the pasta, very dry. Some of the meat was hard so I wasn't able to eat it. They had no soda and the server would not sit us in the area we asked because she had just sat someone prior to us. We had to sit next to another couple even though there were seats throughout the restaurant that were available. I do fully understand the process of the servers and letting servers rotate for tips but to tell me no and then say our server was "fun" wasn't what I wanted to hear. We were out celebrating something special and didn't want the people next to us hearing our conversation. The people in the section we wanted to sit were not closely seated. I was very disappointed. The entire process ruined what was set out to be a great and fun evening. We end up coming home to eat instead of continuing our plans.
The food was blunt, with no flavor, chicken was chewy. Service took forever. Meals came with no napkins I had to tell the waitress to bring us some napkins.
We were done eating and waited over 6mins for our dessert. It was only brought out after we asked for it.

To manager or whoever is responsible for responding to these reviews you need to find a better way of sharing the link that you ask customers to paste in the browser. Look at the link again. That link is not helpful. Also I am unable to reply to it because of the way it is shared. I have noticed that it’s the same other reviews. They go unanswered cause of that useless link you are providing.
I rarely go to Applebees unless there was no other option, but I went in around 11:30pm on a Friday night. While it was busy, I was helped pretty quickly by the hostess and server Kamie.
Kamie was very nice and courteous on making sure my order was accurate. Even exchanged a great short conversation on language exchange and heritage.
The Wonton Tacos was really good. Probably the best appetizer on the menu. 4 Cheese pasta is also a solid choice although I'm never getting the pretzel again.
Best staff ever. Wonderfully polite and happy every time I've been here.... all of them. Not going to mention names because they're all awesome. Cooks, servers, bartenders, and managers. A special thanks to the the unsung heroes. The dish washers. They keep the forks and cups stocked.
Also, if you complain about delivered food that is cold or looks like it was lazily thrown in containers complain about the delivery or eat in. I've read your reviews and looked at your photos. That is clearly the delivery people and the time spent in a vehicle to get it to you.
Renton. My go2 fave - house salad with grilled chicken breast and ranch. Strawberry mango perfect margarita. Cajun salmon - I put the garlic parmesean sauce that goes on the wings on the mashed potatoes. Certain servers are better than others. Certain bartenders are better than others. Long hours. Reasonable prices.
Probably the worst AB's ever been to. The food was not very good, burgers were dead like they've been under the heat lamp way too long. The waitress who handles the bar and seated section with the dreads very rude and not a very good waitress. Let's hope she's better making drinks then serving people who is actually paying her salary? It kind of makes sense that know one was in there one Sunday afternoon now! Just my opinion.
The truth is that we received excellent customer service from our waitress Hanna, the service was nothing but outstanding !!, it is those occasions that make you want to return immediately, the food was also good but the best thing is the customer service that Hanna gave us????????????????. The atmosphere is very good, as you probably know this place is excellent to go for drinks and eat with friends of course you can take your children but the atmosphere is very good to go with your partner or friends, you can watch sports and have a very fun and good Time.
Good food as usual, but had GREAT service!
