This restaurant has undergone a recent renovation, and it definitely shows. Both the interior and exterior look refreshed and inviting, creating a comfortable atmosphere for dining. I decided to try their new Sweet and Spicy Crispy Chicken sandwich. While the chicken itself was cooked well, the sandwich leaned heavily on the spicy side with little sweetness to balance it out. Accompanied only by a fairly bland coleslaw, the sandwich didn’t quite hit the mark for me. I wouldn't recommend this new sandwich. However, the rest of the food was good, and the service was excellent, with attentive staff adding a positive note to the experience.
I like Applebee's if I'm in a hurry and working with a budget. The staff at this Keene NH chain were extremely friendly! I enjoyed a lunch with my mom who goes to Applebee's often with her husband (it's his favorite restaurant!) and she got her usual chicken wonton tacos which she loves! I got the tex-mex grilled shrimp bowl and it was awesome! The restaurant was clean and surprisingly quiet for lunch time. We will return!
Sunday night, 8:00 pm, traveling through Keene, we decided to stop at Applebees for a snack and cold drink. It was not busy. The bartender seemed flustered, moving back and forth behind the bar and attending to a couple guests. He gave us menus but then kept fussing behind the bar. When I asked if we could get a couple beers, he said yes but he was “a bit behind and trying to catch up”. We finally received our two drafts. We ordered a simple app and side, which arrived fairly quickly and good. As we were enjoying our meal, other guests left and the bartender began to clean the bar. Not only wiping down the bar, but wiping down bottles, cleaning everything off the bar, spraying the bar area near me and sweeping the floor around us. I asked what time they closed and he informed me, midnight. Not only did he spray the bar once near where I was sitting, he served another drink in that area and then sprayed again. Finally, as we were finishing our drinks, the rest of the staff finished their shift and decided to sit directly behind us, the only two people at the bar, and chat loud enough for us to here all they were saying. This was a very distracting environment to try and relax as paying guests.
Stopped by for a nice dinner with the family. We came on a Friday night and yes it was packed and the staff busy helping all the customers and serving their tables ( doing good work).
Upon entering we were immediately greeted with a friendly welcome and asked what type of seating we would prefer ( we like to choose booth if possible)
had a small wait for our table ( due to a busy Friday night , not an issue????)
It was soon our turn to be seated as we made our way to our table for the night, we were met with a nice freshly cleaned table and menus ready.
We had an appetizer before our meal. The appetizer came out quick and fresh.
Our orders soon following behind and enjoyed our well cooked meals.
I would like to recommend the 8oz sirloin steak with parmesan shrimp.
Definitely stop by Apple bees if your looking for a nice steak dinner and a laid back environment.
We had a pleasant experience here tonight.

People nay say Applebee's but there's a reason it's a family staple and comfort place for many people.
I've been coming to this one for 20 years and it's always incredible.. the staff is fun and playful when the entire high school drama club comes in after a show, but they're also polite and relaxed when you just want to come for a date night. Management is incredible and the staff is wonderful.
Bonus points for being the place my best friend and his wife met. How can you not love that?
The place is nice. There was a mix up on a busy nite. will and Dan were quick to make things right. This place does care about there customers if you level with them with a level head.
Can't even tell you about the food due to the fact that our waitress has forgotten about our table multiple times. We finally got to order appetizers after flagging her down and asking if we could order. Never came back to ask if we wanted meals. So disappointed
This location was awesome! Service staff and bartenders know how to treat a customer. Food was great. Had wings one night and a burger the following week.
