Let's start off with we went on Veterans Day and it was busy. I had the Fiesta Lime Chicken it was hit and very tasty. Good size chicken breast and not too skimpy on the spanish rice. My wife had the Blackened Cajun Salmon with Mashed Potatoes and green beans. The salmon was a little dry or we would have had straight 5 stars. Our server was excellent on such a busy night and ensured we had everything we needed to enjoy our meals.
The waitress was very sweet, and took my order in a professional and timely manner.
I ordered the Spinach & Artichoke Dip as an Appetizer.
It was delicious! ????
For my entree, I ordered the Riblettes Platter (w/ Asian Cajun said), with broccoli & melted cheese as a substitute for the French Fries, and the Garlic Green Beans in place of the Cole Slaw.
In my opinion, the food wasn't as good as I had expected it to be.. I didn't think the high price justified the mediocre taste - specifically, the Riblettes. The Asian sauce was really good, but the meat tasted a little dry.
My friend who was also with me ordered the steak platter, and also complained (to me only) about his steak being a little dry as well.
Maybe they should change meat providers?...???? ????????
Everything else was great - the vegetables, our waitress, service in general, etc.
Normally we have great experiences here at this specific location TILL yesterday. I found it a little uncomfortable. We had a family of let's say 13 to make it easier. I found it very distasteful the staff including witnessed a group of people harassing me and my guests at my table. OUR waiter WAS GREAT we all loved him considering we didn't really call ahead or schedule it was all pretty last minute but our main waiter was great sir you were awesome!! BUT HOWEVER there was a group of females causing some issues with my table trying to take photos of my nephew just poor behavior being loud of enough for the whole restaurant to hear the conversations I found it very distasteful considering everyone saw by my statements to LEAVE US ALONE while we were seated had her children obnoxiously taking photos of our table taking photos of my guests. I personally do not care how often someone comes to an establishment it's about how you act and how you present yourself as well as your children. My family deserves to enjoy whatever we do and wherever we go. To continue to let it happen and then to openly talk about me and my guests while we are trying to enjoy our meals VERY uncomfortable.
We stayed at La Quinta for 2 weeks righr behind Applebee's for a job and made this place our dinner spot. The bartenders are WONDERFUL especially Renee (with her beautiful teeth) and Jordan. We never waited for a drink and thier personal service made us feel at home every night. Not to mention the food is AMAZING. We ended up developing relationships with the whole staff and we're welcomed with smiles every time! The manager Wayne and and one of the senior waitresses Leslie did everything they could to make us happy. If you are reading this, please go to this Applebee's you won't regret it.
I brought my mom here for her birthday a host met us at the door and sat us immediately our waitress Aleyah was nice, professionally and gave good vibe. The food was delicious mom's steak wasn't as well as she wanted the manger Tammie came over quickly and asked if something was wrong. they fixed the problem immediately. aliyah checked on us multiple times for drinks and such we had a great time I definitely recommend this location it was great
Food was good. Fries could use a little less salt and the wings could use alittle more sauce, but that's my opinion. Overall always willing to comeback
While the service is normally very good, the food is just not that good. The salsa is mushy and the chips will have a random chip heavily coated in salt. The basic burgers are great, but the fries are cold by the time they reach the table.
Best bet for a really good meal would be the classic burger or a steak and veggies. Or if you get an all-star server ask for their recommendation. They know what's going on in the kitchen on a given night.
I'm very hopeful that the food will go back to the quality I remember from previous years.
Several screens are strategically placed for sports at various booths and around the central bar. You'll be able to watch the game, but the music playing overhead means you won't be listening to the game.
All that said - I still like the location...just not visiting as often right now.
Not too bad for the area and pretty quick for a dine in solution. A bit of a 50/50 chance with the food and service. Depends on the cook and server. Take-out/Pick-up food is always a toss up as well.
