Best WLM Reviews
Busy day, decided to order take out from Applebee's. Ordered a beef Whisky Burger and a Chicken Whisky Burger. Beef was ordered with no pink. Got our food home, discovered they didn't give us our chicken burger, it was beef, and both burgers were very pink. This made our day busier and longer because we had to cook both longer of our grill. Check your food before you leave.
This is not the first time, we got lazy and didn't check our food before coming home.
The other night my wife was craving a steak and we opted for Applebee's. She ordered an 8 oz steak and paid the extra up charge. After our food arrived, we found my wife's steak to be very small. Upon weighing the steak we discovered it wasn't even a 6oz steak but 5.6oz. Of course this sounds petty and I was embarrassed to call however if you are going to charge extra for a product, then I feel you need to deliver. The real problem is how the store made us feel. We were made to feel silly and like liars for calling. They did offer a gift card to be emailed to us but a monetary value was never disclosed. (We would have been happy with just the upcharge being refunded) This gift card never arrived and the whole experience has really just been unnecessary.
Service has been slow the last few times we have gone in. Food has been good. They have not been very busy when we go in either kind of sad.
Food was great! Service was a little slow, we got our appetizer at the same time as our meal, but they did comp us for it. Overall very good!
Road 68 Applebee's is pretty phenomenal for the most part. Consistently great food with reasonable prices. I personally believe it is about the best restaurant this part of Pasco. The service can be a little bit sketchy at times. But most of the wait staff at this one are very courteous, friendly, and time efficient. Great cooks as well. I honestly don't think I've ever been disappointed in any of my visits to this Applebees. I would say 5 stars well deserved.
Applebee's Review: Avoid the Four Cheese Pasta and Chicken Sandwiches
If you're thinking about dining at Applebee's, my advice is to steer clear of their Four Cheese Pasta and Chicken Sandwiches. The food quality just doesn't justify the price.
First, the Four Cheese Pasta. This dish is a prime example of why chain restaurants often fail at delivering decent comfort food. The pasta was overcooked and mushy, lacking any texture or bite. The "four cheeses" seemed to be a blend of bland, processed cheeses that barely melted into a sauce—more like a gloopy, flavorless mess. The dish felt heavy, greasy, and the cheese sauce had an unnatural, overly salty taste. If you're craving a comforting pasta dish, this is definitely not the place to get it.
Then there's the Chicken Sandwich—if you can even call it that. The chicken itself was dry and overcooked, making each bite a struggle to swallow. It seemed like a pre-cooked, frozen patty, thrown onto a sad bun with minimal effort. The toppings (lettuce, tomato, etc.) were basic and unremarkable, and the overall sandwich had little to no seasoning. The bun was flimsy, and the whole thing just felt like an afterthought.
Both dishes were a major letdown in terms of flavor and presentation. For a chain that's supposed to offer a "neighborhood grill" experience, Applebee's fails to deliver on both quality and taste. If you’re looking for a satisfying meal, you're better off skipping these items and finding a place that actually takes pride in its food.
It doesn't feel as friendly as it used to. Our food the last 2 times hasn't been great either. I do give points for the ambiance, though. Hopefully, next time is better. If so, I will update the stars.
9/16/2024 we had the best classic cheese burger today. Who ever the cooks were at around 1:00 pm were fantastic ! Best hamburger we’ve had in a long time. Kudos to the Pasco Washington Applebee’s . Everyone was so kind and attentive :) thanks again:)
