I really enjoyed my visit at the restaurant. One of the managers came out and personally fixed my order for me after I had the wrong sauce put on my wings. He was very kind. The restaurant overall was clean and my server was very friendly. I will definitely be returning. Not to mention the staff seated me when I bc first walked in. That was a first because normally the other locations have me wait for a period of time.
How is this not a health hazard??? How was this not addressed? The amount of dust sitting on the ceiling and around the vents appear to have been there for over a decade. I was extremely disgusted being there with my two little kids.
If this is what the restaurant lets their customers see, I can’t even imagine how filthy the kitchen must be.
Do not eat here! The staff is rude, lacking intelligence and maturity. If you go here, you will leave in a bad mood. I ordered a salad that’s it, It took 30 - 40 minutes for salad. My kids got their food and finished it before I ever got my salad. The waitress was unintelligent and spoke to me with extreme disrespect, so much so that my wife spoke for the rest of the evening. Once we finally got our salad, We paid and got to-go boxes. Overall, my dining experience here left me frustrated and hungry.
Absolutely disgusting. Worst customer service and manager who lacks empathy and common sense. There was a HAIR in my food. Normally a restaurant would write off the meal as it is literally unsanitary and violates RESTAURANT HEALTH CODE to have hair in the food. The waitress comes back happily to let me know the manager took $3.00 off our bill. I literally almost laughed I was so appauled. $3.00 does absolutely nothing when I just ate your HAIR from my plate. I asked to speak to the manager just so I could hear him seriously say $3.00 is all he could do. At that point it was laughable. He did not care at all. As though this must happen all the time there. GROSS. Do not dine here if you value your hard earned money and don’t want to waste it in an unkempt restaurant with managers that think it is OK to have hair in the food. I was a waitress for years and I would NEVER charge my customers for a plate with hair in it. Absolutely DISGUSTING. Never again! The manager should be ashamed of himself!
There's not a lot of late night options for food in Chesapeake, but we stopped by this Applebee's on a whim. All the staff was friendly and welcoming. The food is average, fresh, and served in a timely manner. I was not impressed with the specialty cocktail I ordered. But this location is over due for a refresh. It feels worn and out dated. I was distracted by an ant crawling on our table. There's also a plumbing issue that needs attention in the men's restroom.
The restaurant has come so far. New faces and so professional. The food, service, and atmosphere were outstanding! I will definitely be going back!
My Mother and I hadn't been to Applebee's since the pandemic. Today was such a beautiful day so we decided to come out. Lilly was our server. She was excellent. We got the 2 for $28. Plenty of food. We had the onion rings as our appetizer. Momma had the Chicken broccoli Alfredo and I had the riblets and fries. We still added a salad a piece. Our leftovers left with us. Great day!
I tried to order through the app the other day, and for some reason, DoorDash wouldn't allow for delivery. I called and spoke with the general manager, Juan, and he delivered the food himself! The customer service went well above and beyond, and I will definitely order from here again!
