I gave 5 stars for it being what it is; an above average eatery/bar. Versatile in regard to the facts that you're able to take family, some friends, or just yourself to this place. The food isn't fine dining, but decent enough for a casual Friday night. I wish there was more room at the bar and more comfortable seats.
I was waited on by a girl named ariana, I was taken back because she was wearing a bass pro shop shirt. She had an attitude and her hair was touching my plate when she brought it to the table. She would stand around talking with the host and red head and it took 15 minutes to get a drink refill. I get the service industry but I was just disappointed
I was pleasantly surprised at how delicious our food was this past weekend. Everything was hot and the drinks were fresh as well, instead of the sodas being flat. Our waitress was okay, not really that good, but everybody has their days and our food made up for it. When we first went here 2 years ago, everything was Awful and we said we wouldn’t be back, but yesterday changed our minds. Not too mention the 2 for $25 or 2 for $30 is always a delightful added bonus! I would recommend the “Fiesta Like Chicken’. I enjoyed every bite! My family had the burger and said “it was fresh and cooked perfect as well”.
We used to love Applebee's. We Never had a complaint about the food. Service not so great, on a downhill slide. The restaurants are filthy. When my shoes stick to the floor, it concerns me how clean is the kitchen. Tables are dirty, seats are dirty, under the tables would never pass inspection. This place was so dirty, basically I couldn't find anything clean in the entire restaurant. The bathroom was so dirty and disgusting without soap and without paper towels. I felt I was would get an infection just by walking in there.
If I could do no stars I would! VERY POOR SERVICE! we left before we even got our salads that was after I asked her if we would be getting them before our dinner arrived. Not to mention we ordered an appetizer too I had to speak a little loud just to get our drinks then it was still forever before she took our order, never again. Me and my fiancé use to go often and I love the lime chicken and was looking forward to it guess that’s why there was no wait.
Thought we got lucky when the parking lot wasn't full. We should have taken it as a warning. My sirloin looked like it had been cooked a couple times, was beyond well done and I ordered it medium. The french onion soup was ok. Waffle fries were soggy. Will not be returning.
Went to Applebees today at lake worth had a group of 5 have a couple of drinks with some friends.Cora T was are server she was horrible, she hardly check on us and asked if we were doing okay one of us at the table was out of soda for a good 10 mins before the manager came to us to see what we needed waited another 10 mins before we got our cheese sticks then waited another 10 minutes for are alcohol drinks to get to us needless to say we paid and just left because we didn’t want to wait 10 mins again for another drink
The very first thing I noticed when walking up to this restaurant was the entrance was dirty. All the windows needed to be clean in the concrete could use a power washing. I sat at the bar which was sticky. Kind of one of these places where anything you touch is sticky. Had the new bacon cheeseburger which was OK. The restrooms are outdated and not really all that clean. Upon leaving, I saw several employees by the front entrance standing around talking. What they should’ve been doing was cleaning the front windows. Service at the bar was good though.
