Best WLM Reviews
Great place that remains uncrowded. Friendly greeting when I walked in by Leron, and bar service by Kristine B. I got a budget lager recommended Yuenling lager and 5 onion rings as I sat at the bar. Plenty of parking. Handicap access. Honestly a little haunt next to the Drury hotel and it can be yours as well
First time visiting this Applebees. Kayla and Courtney were super!! Wasn’t sure what i wanted to drink but Kayla enticed me to a delicious perfect margarita and that’s what I drank all night. The environment was fun and welcoming. Restrooms are very clean and the food is fresh and good and they even have pool tables!! Will definitely be coming back to the karaoke nights. Thank you Kayla and Courtney!!! ❤️
Our lovely waitress was Giselle, She was so amazing, her way of connecting with us was a 10/10. I would definitely come again just to have her as our waitress. When we had questions about the menu she answered them with no problem. Although she had other tables she was still very attentive to our needs. If y’all do happen to come I highly suggest to get Giselle as y’all’s waitress!!!☺️
The bartender was great! I sat at the bar and got a margarita and some nachos to go. When I got back to my hotel and looked at the nachos they had no guacamole, queso, sour cream or cilantro.. definitely disappointing and not worth the price
So I'm gonna be honest, my pretzels came out frozen. The server sent them back and had them dropped again. And the bartender was eating a lollipop that she kept touching and bare handedly kept grabbing bar glasses. The place is moist and run down. And I don't think the tables were wiped prior to us being sat. But Zander gave amazing customer service, and none of this affected how we tipped him. But if you do have issues with messy restaurants, this may not be the selection for you.
First off it's hella cold in here so you might want to bring a jacket just in case.
When we came in we were seated immediately and ordered drinks. My tea was warm with a few ice cubes floating on top so I asked for a cup full of ice while our waitress took our food order, but I didn't receive it until the food was brought out. It seems like the restaurant was understaffed because we hardly saw our waitress at all. Even just to get a refill is taking up to 20 minutes or the waitress only comes out when the food is ready. At one point my younger sibling accidentally spilled her drink on half the table and the waitress was wiping down a table near by, looked up at the mess and continued to wipe the table instead of even coming to help us, we had to call out to her very loudly and ask her to bring a towel or something to help clean the mess, but instead she tells the bartender to go bring us a bunch of napkins instead like she wanted us to clean everything or something. After that more family join us for lunch and the mess is still sitting there even as the waitress is going back and forth to bring us what we ordered. By the end when we leave the mess is still there.
I had the new bacon ranch crispy chicken burger with pickles and lettuce.
The chicken was really juicy but when you take a bite it almost washes the little bit of ranch away so you're left with a pull of watery ranch sauce on your plate.
Combined with the lettuce and pickles the whole thing is just hard to eat.
Also the fries are hella salty. The riblets taste like dry beef mixed with some BBQ sauce. I wasn't too impressed with the food honestly.
The bar was super busy. This was a Friday night, so maybe that's expected, but I rarely see an Applebee's bar that hoppin. The food was good, but I have some notes, and the service was great.
The buffalo wings were well sauces, which was awesome. But one of them didn't seem cooked fully, or it was a lot of fat. Either way, a bit of a downer. The rest was great though. Chicken Penne was well made, steak was good, the salads were nothing but Texas-sized. You know how everything is supposed to be bigger in Texas. Definitely here. You could have fed a person on just a salad. Overall good experience. Server was helpful and pleasant.
Note: the 2 for $20 and $25 is now 2 for $25, $28, and $32. Stinks that the Bourbon Street Chicken was in $32 category. But at least it was well made.
Good location, would recommend coming back.
Burger was burnt and horrible. Pretzels were greasy, and salt was just piled on top. Service was incredibly slow. Understaffed. Waitress was very kind, and service was not her fault. Bad management. It's definitely the last time we ever eat at Applebees.
