We had a wonderful experience tonight! Not only was the food delicious but our server Sarah Goldirsch was exceptional! She made our experience positive in every way! She was patient with all 5 of the kids, understanding with our mom (who has severe dementia) and incredibly knowledgeable with your menu. Her smile literally warmed our evening and made what started out as just a dinner out into a night we will cherish. Thank you Sarah for bringing your positivity and love of what you do to our experience tonight. You are one of a kind and we will be back, because of you.
Chicken was undercooked it's a good thing I checked or I would have been sick . I asked for no parsley no seasoning on my grilled chicken. There was a piece of parsley on the top I turned it over all the seasoning was on the bottom. I'm glad I checked I have high blood pressure and I don't need to have a high blood pressure attack. Do better Applebees do better.
I gotta say, Applebee's seems to be a default when you're looking for a day to eat out at. It almost always seems like a good bet for a group like ours. That or maybe we're zombified to the greasy allure of burgers, I dunno.
Regardless, we decided to stop in on the Applebee's in Brighton just before the lunch rush. The server Aracely was on top of it for us, making sure we had everything and even a special request for sauce.
So tried the new chicken sandwich menu myself, and the food was none too spicy, but holy dollars it was pipin' hot fresh from the fryer. Definitely a bonus, here.
The Food and Drink were delicious and the Service was exceptional. The reason for the 3 Star Score is based on the Customer Relationship Experience. I originally sat and waited 15 minutes without being acknowledged by any server. I brought the menu back to the hostess and stated that I was going to go elsewhere because nobody had come by my table. I stated this in front of 2 managers and another server named Joe, who was willing to serve me. I paid full price for a drink, a meal and a dessert. It would have been nice to have had the dessert comped off the bill or been thanked by a manager for choosing to stay. I work in Customer Service myself, and I would have gladly done something in appreciation to recognized the importance of the business- client relationship. Joe was outstanding as my server.
Another Great Location!!
This Applebee's is another great location for this chain of restaurants. I visited this location while in the area for business since it was close to my hotel. The staff were great, and I was seated right away. I ordered the Chicken Tortilla Soup, and the 8 ounce Top Sirloin, cooked medium-rare. My plate also had loaded mashed potatoes and steamed broccoli. I also had a local craft beer that was on tap. Another good experience at Applebee's and a testament as to why I keep coming back to this chain when I'm travelling. Great service, great food and great beer.
Nice place to go eat if you're on a budget!! Great drinks!! Little under staffed, so it takes a minute for the waiters and waitresses to get back around to you!! But they are all super nice!!
When we first arrived there we didn't see any employees on the floor. So we wait to be seated or maybe even greeted by the staff??
Since it was only the two of us we decided to just sit at the bar. By that time the bartender had come back to the bar. The female bartender didn't seem real thrilled that we had chosen to sit at the bar. She was accomadating, but not so friendly, or pleasant.
So when the male bartender came to take our order all of that changed. He was very friendly the atmosphere completely changed. We couldn't have asked for a more polite and experienced waiter/ Bartender.
Once we put our order in it didnt take long to get our food! The food is what we expected it was good. We just had soup and sandwiches & fries. It wasnt overly priced and we didn't have to wait long to get our bill handled. It was also around 3:30-4pm when we arrived. So we seemed to have missed the dinner rush. That was starting to trinkle in as we were leaving.
Came in with desired of enjoying our food as a family . We were dissatisfied with how our food was cook . Every main plate wasn’t cooked properly either over cooked or undercooked. Our Mac and cheese side were cold once placed on our table . The manager did remove some items off our check ,but over all we were disappointed on how our experience was at this location.
