I had a party of 13 and the time we had to wait before being seated was fairly reasonable. The waitress was very friendly and knowledgeable of the menu and she even read our orders back to us to make sure that she had everything written down correctly before she placed it. We enjoyed conversing with one another and before we knew it our food was being served and let me tell you the food did not disappoint. Everything was good and hot and seasoned to perfection.
When I tell you this Whiskey Bacon ???? Cheese Burger was delicious it was spectacular. I want to go back as I type this Wonderful Review. And you can sub the fries out for something else if you don’t want French Fries ????. The Restaurant was clean and so were the bathrooms. There was plenty of parking. Everything was delicious.
My server Kim was amazing! I definitely recommend asking for her to be your server! She was so kind, sweet, and remembered everything I asked for! The host and manager were also very helpful and kind! Best experience I've ever had at an Applebee's!
I'm appreciative for the free Veterans Day meal of 6 oz. sirloin, broccoli, and mashed potatoes. The food was great, along with the friendly atmosphere at the bar. The server was quick and kept my sweet tea full I was in & out in less than 30 mins ????
Well when we arrived and hot out the car the server watched us all the way from the car til we walked in with a odd look on his face. A guy walked in after us but the hostess went to him first ti see if he needed any help. Then she turned around and sat us with the guy who was starring at us through the blinds. He got our drink order and I asked if he can give us 2 minutes to look over the menu. He didn't come back to us until they actually sat him 2 other tables. He finally got our order. 25 minutes later we finally got our drinks, I asked if he could go ahead and put me another in because it took so long for them to come. Didn't receive that one until 30 minutes later cause the manager saw we never got it and he made it and apologize. Both the other tables got their appetizers and food but we were still sitting there with nothing. Then boom, apps and food all at one time and that's not how we wanted it. We tried to make the best of it and we ordered another round of drinks. Our server was talking to some girls at the bar and other randoms things then decided to mop. I literally had to say out loud that's your drink at the bar just sitting there in order for him to bring it. He put the mop down and got my husband drink brought it to the table and walked off. My husband was upset cause he didn't wash his hands before touching his glass after touching the mop. It night not mean anything to most but we both work in the restaurant industry and we know the dishwasher uses them mops to clean the bathroom and they have gloves on which transfer bacteria on to the mop stick. He lied and said he washed his hands when we watched him put the mop down and get the drinks. My drink again never got made. He brought me my ticket and i asked can he take the drink off cause i never got it. The service was so terrible but i still left him 22 dollars even though i should have walked out. My ticket was over a hunderd dollars. Not to mention when we was walking out our waiter was walking in and instead of holding the door open he literally push past us to go back in. My daughter was pissed cause she almost slipped by trying to get out his way. We are not going back. It was just a horrible experience all the way around
Ordered a medium (pink) steak. The steak was VERY overcooked. The broccoli and cheese were not seasoned. The wings were dry and hard. The mashed potatoes were cold and nasty. Didn't eat the chicken and shrimp because it was way too seasoned with the sauce and overloaded with onion flavor.
The worst food I’ve ever eaten. So bad that we paid the entire $88 bill and left a table full of food when we left. So sad that they call themselves Applebees. And in the South. Mississippi. Shameful. The waitress was very nice and attentive. We should have just gave her the money as a tip instead of paying the bill. I don’t recommend any food here. Just drive right past it if you want good food. You won’t find it here. It is not Southern food and they are out of line for acting like it is
This store is one of the cleanest restaurants I've eaten at. Everything is neat and orderly. Service there was impeccable and the staff was very attentive. Drinks and food were served prompt and to my satisfaction. I tend to critique service everywhere I go; I have been more than satisfied with my experience at this store.
I did notice that the hostesses were not on their toes when seating guests, but there lack of awareness was compensated by the three senior staff and other personnel.
I would recommend anyone to enjoy the simple atmosphere. It has a bar, and even though kids in this environment is not ideal, the early hours would not be a negative impact on the young ones.
Try the appetizers and enjoy yourself once you leave at some of the local tourist attractions such as Bonita Lakes.
