Great service and food here. I had the spinach and artichoke dip and a chicken sandwich. The dip was a little on the salty side but still good, the burger was really good. The chicken wasn’t dry at all, came with pickles on it that I normally wouldn’t go for but it was actually really good. Our waitress was very nice and everything came quick.
I want to do a more detailed review, the problem, I had was with the steak. Not enough to affect the rating so I’ll go into more detail later.
Our server was incredibly friendly, polite & professional!! The food was very delicious, & all the other staff were also incredibly nice with all smiles on their faces. Just for those two reasons, I would definitely come back to eat here, if I happen to travel up this way again. This location seemed to be a popular restaurant for this city & it had study customers all afternoon. I would recommend this place to get a quick bite to eat or a drink from their bar. I can add that the frozen margarita I had was surprisingly exceptional, delicious & very well-made! Thank you, Applebee's staff for such an enjoyable outing.
Applebee's rarely disappoints, and Bangor is no exception. We arrived at a busy time but only waited about 10 minutes. Staff was friendly as usual. Food did come out a little slow, but considering the place was full, I thought they did pretty good. Food was still hot when it arrived, and tasty as usual!
It was busy tonight like a normal Saturday would be, and our order was apparently overlooked a few times so our food took awhile but we were not in a rush. The manager Mike was awesome and apologized for the wait but we understood things happen so it was no big deal to us. He told us the food was on the house tonight wich we were definitely not expecting that but we’re gratefully thankful for. Our waitress willow was amazing, she had so much going on at once but handled every situation like a boss! Awesome people, great atmosphere!
LET ME TELL YOU, IMPRESSED? Nothing short of it! We called at 12:45 AM to place an order, mind you they close at 1:00AM so we were holding our breath and understood if they could not do us a favour. Olivia (I think was her name), got right on it and said yes, let’s do it, what do you want?? We got the fiesta lime chicken with mashed potatoes and one of their burgers that was a KILLER. Fries were so good. The chicken was so filling, we could barely eat the whole thing, full of flavour. Mashed potatoes, no comments, definitely recommend to anyone who loves potatoes. I love that they keep the potato skin so it gives an extra texture and flavour. Honestly, never a dull moment here!! Thank you Olivia and team!! You guys rock. Also, if the photos look meh to you, trust me when I say the taste was what mattered. It was late at night for nice pictures haha.
Great food and great service! Christina made us feel right at home and had such a great personality! She was also great with my young daughter who doesn’t do well in restaurants with lots of people and loud noises. It was all around a great time and we look forward to many more visits ❤️
Yeah, we fancy like Applebee's, on a date night... We all know the song. Prices have stayed relatively low during the market inflation. My husband got a club sandwiches with fries, I got the appetizer platter. Fresh, hot, delicious as always. I got a blueberry ale that the waitresses recommended, which was great. The atmosphere is, well, Applebee's, but our waitress and hostess were very friendly and had a sense of humor. This is our go-to "chain" restaurant when we want comforting food.
