The bartender/ server Janel was amazing! We came in to celebrate our 2 year anniversary???????????? And she was super sweet and accommodating for my surprise request for desert.
She went out of her way to ask the kitchen for the decorated plate, I had originally asked for just a 2 to keep it simple, since it seemed busy. But they went above and beyond and made a gorgeous plate.
I asked for her name at the door in hopes I can be served by her next time. She deserves some management recognition for how professional she managed both her section and the bar.
I placed an order on your website, and since you removed the option to customize items in your Southwest Irresistible Bowls, I called the restaurant directly. I spoke to someone in charge and politely asked them to remove the salad greens (lettuce) from the bowl, but somehow I ended up with more salad than rice. Absolutely ridiculous.
All 4 of us ordered steak, rib eye, 12oz with mashed potatoes and broccoli. Also 6oz sirloin with green beans and garlic mash. The food came to our table in 8 minutes. Hot. Very good! Drinks were all good. Yes it’s an Applebees, chain, but they did a great job. I’d come back.
The ribs i ordered tasted like gas. I couldn't eat them. They were taken off the bill, and the manager was really sweet. He offered a replacement, but I was turned off at that point. My husband's steak was in his words, " Meh." The manager at that particular location was really helpful, but the waiter was absent.
Stopped for dinner at about 7pm. The restaurant was mostly full and service was kinda slow. Our waitress was great but working lots of tables so refills didn't happen. (She did give us to go cups for the refills we didn't get during dinner). Food came out hot and tasted good. Tables are very close to each other so loud neighbors can impact your dinner. Hostess stand is very close to the main entrance causing issues with customers waiting to be seated and those trying to enter/exit.
Good food and service in a relaxed and comfortable setting. The menu has something for everyone and prices seem fair. Full bar with interesting drinks . We tried their margarita , nachos with spinach dip and salsa, a shrimp bowl and a impossible burger. Everything was good.
Arrive around 4:30PM on a Friday. Got seated quickly. Kevin was our server. He came to take our drink order quickly. Took our food order right away. We got the 2/$25. We had wings. They were good and saucy. I got the limited time garlic steak skillet. My Husband had Fiesta lime chicken ( can't go wrong with that dish) the food came quickly. Nice appearance. Temp was not steaming hot but not cold. My well done steak was perfect. The only thing I could find wrong was there wasn't a blob of garlic butter like the picture on the advertisement showed. In fact, there wasn't any garlic butter at all which was the whole reason I ordered that. I'm not one to send food back unless it is really REALLY bloody or sometime gross. The steak was ok. It was soft. The Mashed potatoes were bland. The broccoli was alright. Not like Longhorn Steakhouse broccoli with that amazing lemon butter YUM. My Husband was happy with his Fiesta lime chicken. Mentioned he wished there was just a little more of the sauce and Pico. Checked out quickly. I would definitely go back because I'd like to try the Garlic steak skillet but this time with garlic butter!
Genuinely I never go out of my way to review places, especially if it's not prompted or requested, however the stake is prepared perfectly, and the fries are amazingly seasoned! Very fast service ans got the food in less than 15 minutes.
