Love this place. Tasty food and nice n cold beers ???? Every single time when I visit I eat only baby back ribs! Back ribs absolutely freaking good. Kent location is less than 5mins from my house so every other week I take my parents here have some dinner. Excellent food, good service, clean restaurant, friendly staff and manager.

The service is sometimes fantastic and sometimes very blah. The managers really care about your happiness. The food is consistently good. We go for happy hour and enjoy getting a ton of snacks to share. I love the $2.29 brownie bite and ice cream. I wish everywhere would serve just a bite desserts.
We stopped for a quick dinner with my husband after a meeting. Service was fantastic and food was good. We ordered off the 2 appetizer menu and added the chocolate lava cake dessert. We left feeling satisfied and glad.
One of the best restaurants here in Kent, excellent customer service especially Jennifer that Bartends and Waitresses as well. The manager Flabio is very attentive, professional and always has a smile delivering excellent service to everyone that comes in the door, treats everyone with respect. I highly recommend this Applebees in Kent.
So I'm a little conflicted with my experience here.
This was meant to be an affordable lunch and we were lured in by the endless/bottomless wings special for like $15.
And I will say that the wings and also they have shrimp ???? with the same deal...and there are a variety of sauces too were very tasty! And I totally recommend them!
Here are the ways that I wasn't satisfied and why I'd probably rather fix something easy at home.
The food was slow. It took too long to order initially and too long to order additional batches so that in an hour I think I got two baskets of the shrimp. They were good, but if you were expecting the food to be fuel for your day you might still be hungry after spending your whole lunch there.
The next problem is much more in your control as a customer, but I'll point out that we are not particularly big splurgers but the combined tab was over double what I'd estimated based on the all you can eat deal advertised.
Even though the restaurant was not busy at lunchtime when we went our server was a little busy to take care of us quickly. Maybe bad luck or maybe understaffing.
I think this is great if you are retired, or all day to go with friends, or have a small apatite... this is probably really good for you.
I left trying not to resent that I'd taken a 2 hour lunch break to be hungry and spend money I probably shouldn't have.
So when we first moved to Kent this was our go to place. Good food good service . We went today and sat in the bar area. The bartender was complaining that she was not a happy princess. Also she was not only complaining to her co-workers but to the clients. We got our food that was cold. My husband ordered the all you can eat ribs. They totally skimmed on the portions. If your going to advertise all you can eat than it's all you can eat. If you want to have a good experience at Applebee's go to the one in Covington or Auburn. Service is better and server's are much nicer.
I usually go here for an occasional drink or pasta but I’ll never be inclined to go visit again. When I entered on this day I was asked if I had been helped but instead of giving me my order inside. I was rudely redirected by being pointed to a door I could not see, outside. I chose pickup inside so I could sit and enjoy a drink, but I wasn’t respected as a customer as she spoke over me. The lady who didn’t listen was a bigger African American and had box braids. I was in a pink tee with sweats.
Jen is the best! Great service and great drinks. Service is very timely and all the workers are very nice and attentive
