Ordered my steak medium. Waitress brings out our food my steak was well done. Sent it back and the next steak was rare. Waitress was avoiding us, and when she finally came over, I explained that the steak needed to be cooked a little longer. Manager cooked my steak and it was medium, finally. I took it to go because my husband was done eating by this time. Will never go back.
We have ordered some veg but they sent us beef and this is my first order and this will be my last order, I do not eat beaf????????
Food was tasty, portions were a bit on the small side compared to other similar restaurants, our waitress Mariah was perfect ????
We had a large group (11) which can go either way our waitress started out attentive but she was given another big table. Which may have been too much for her. Our steaks were overcooked but the waitress and manager did their best to accommodate us.
Overall the place was ok. We came from Florida to visit and the waiter was really nice. Had to send our fries back because they were cold and my wife tacos were not the best. Lukewarm perhaps. Outside of that the restaurant was ok. Nothing to really brag about.
When arriving we had to practically wait on set ourselves until I went and got somebody. The waitress was horrible. I probably won't be back to the place in Granite City somebody needs to change it. And I forgot our food was horrible the steak was all gristle and we had to send it back and I had a salad and the chicken was cooked two crispy that was on it. The appetizer was bad it was overcooked. Will not be back.
I ordered curbside previously and my food was messed up and not good. The manager tried to make things right by sending me a certificate. Well, I ordered the Broccoli & Chicken Alfredo and it SUCKED! There was very little sauce to the mountain of noodles and tasted bland. Someone cannot cook in that kitchen. I don't want another certificate because I don't want to be disappointed again. They would be so livid if they were served this in a restaurant. I just won't be back.... EVER.
The service and food were on par for the average Applebees and I have no real complaints. Personally I could use fewer TVs everywhere, but that’s me. I say if you are looking for Applebee’s fare stop on in at this location.
