Applebees has been rather hit and miss with us over the years. This one was better than most.
I had the bacon-overload burger (don’t remember the name, but you’ll figure it out when you see the menu). Cyndi had tortilla soup, and our grand daughter opted for the macaroni and cheese, with chicken tenders.
Our server was delightful and helpful, and the food tasty. The reason for only 4 stars was how filthy the carpet was. The table side check out machine was also quite grimy as well.
On Veteran's day I went to Gig Harbor Applebee's restaurant and they served me a free dinner since I'm a veteran. I thought it was going to be a simple dinner and cheap, but I had the option to select the full portion. It was very delicious and the server whom I, and my wife had, was excellent. Her name is Alena and she was very attentive to her job. The table had a small bouquet of flowers with an American flag that made me feel very special for serving our country. It really touch my heart. I had to let her manager know that all of the above: food, atmosphere, and the foremost of all, the service gets 5 plus stars.
We went out with friends. We sat at the bar and our server was awesome. Friendly, easy going, offered to take our orders after serving another customer. Food came rather quickly after ordering. Everyone finished their dishes.
Wow just wow sat at the bar bartender female don't remember her name extremely rude made one drink at a time. It looked like there was about an ounce.Or less in my straight up vodka martini.Which cost me on happy hour $12?What is happening here. I asked her for an extra shot and she said no, because there's Olive juice in it.What does that mean? Between two people four drinks if you can call them that, 3 appetizers mind you.It's happy hour and a side salad.The bill alone was 80 will never go into Applebee's again.Or recommend it to anyone!
the blonde bartender was kind and friendly, but everything else about my meal was a mess. i asked for medium rare steak, and got a BLUE one, that had barely been seared on both sides. i didn’t notice right away, and ate some of it.
i had to call out of work this morning and am spending my day throwing up.
HUGE bummer. absolutely horrible.
Plan for extra time to wait if you come here for a meal. No one to seat us for several minutes should have given us an idea of how poorly this location is run. We were finally lead to a booth and orders were taken. 20 minutes later, we're looking for some info regarding the status of our orders. We left, flagging down a Applebee's employee to let them know to cancel our meals.
We understand that sometimes it's busy (it wasn't this night) or issues arise - just let your customers know.
It's a normal Applebee's. The place was pretty empty on game day and the dollar drinks tasted like sugar water. Not too crazy out of the norm for a chain like that but kind of expected a little more than a sigar bloat after a few drinks. The mozzarella sticks were cold, but the entrées were nice and hot when they came out. Our server was awesome and was very attentive. Hard to say much else about this spot, but it could've been worse. She hooked us up with the 2 for $29 deal that we didn't realize we were ordering so that was nice.
Placed an order to pick up. When I arrived they handed me a bag for door dash. I told them I wasn’t door dash that it was an order for me. They then took the bag of food back and after a 10 minute wait the manager Travis came out with the same bag and I paid. Then he left to process the payment, bring some other tables their checks and what appeared to be put some blinds up at tables on the opposite side of the restaurant before bringing the receipts to me which were in his hand the entire time. I got home and realized 3 things were missing from the meal. I called and he was rude on the phone but said he would personally redo the meal. I drove all the ways back and brought the meal with the missing things back. He handed me the remade food and said I can keep the messed up meal. I told him I don’t need it. He then aggressively swiped it off the front counter and said thanks for making me throw it away. I came here to eat 1 to 2 times week after work with my friend Dianne. I will never patronize an Applebees again. Travis said he was the general manager. I have no words that a general manager is this terrible when his wait staff has always been pleasant.
