Food is franchise food. Tasted okay. Ordered pomegranate lemonade and it came in a large glass. Excellent! Service was slow. Server was friendly and apologized for the slow service. You can pay your bill at the table without waiting for your server.
Update: Saturday afternoon, December 2021; You can purchase gift ???? cards at the bar ????.
Update: October 2024; Carside to go went well. The Bourbon Street Mushroom Swiss Burger was messy but tasted good. The Quesadilla Burger was very good ????.
Remember five Stars at Applebee’s is not the same as five stars at a unique restaurant. This is upscale fast food, sit down not fine dining. For what it is, they do it right and Hooksett, NH is a great location. Food is decent and the prices are fair. The service is always great. Can’t decide where to go or just need a place to meet with friends? Stop here!
My husband and I got the two for $ 26 deal which is a shared app and two entrees. The mozzarella sticks were good. Hot and not greasy. He got the steak and shrimp, I got the 6 oz steak. The waitress let me swap the mashed potatoes default side for a small side of Mac and cheese which was sooo cheesy and yummy. The steak was cooked just as I asked for it. Overall it's a really good deal if you're going with another person and want to be budget conscious.
We finished the meal with each of us getting the brownie bite dessert which is the perfect size. Just a little something sweet but not big and heavy.
Our waitress was very friendly and attentive. I wish I could remember her name. She was blonde with glasses and said she had worked there for 3 or 4 years. She gave us excellent service and checked on us several times to make sure we were happy.
Will definitely come back to this location of Applebee's in the future.
Came here because my mom loves it. Definitely a corporate chain restaurant. But overall food is good for the price. And I would recommend not getting any drinks made with sour mix, unless you want to experience the true meaning of sour with heartburn. The chicken dish I had was delicious, with the meat being tender and juicy. Service is courteous and prompt. You also have the option of paying with a card at the table with the touchscreen table machine thingy.
Last time I went to a Applebee's was in New York like 6 years ago. Experience was terrible and food was okay. This Applebee's was the opposite. All the staff were excellent! And our waitress was super nice, always asking if everything was okay. And the food and drinks, not sure what was different from NYC but wow, for a restaurant of this type, I would probably come back!
Everything about our experience was wonderful. The wait staff was friendly and attentive, they checked to make sure all our needs were met. The food was hot and seasoned well, with hardly any wait time. This restaurant is the example that all Applebees restaurants should follow. Great job, we will be back!
Showed up Friday night at 6:45 with two of my girlfriends looking to get a drink before a movie. The hosted immediately told me we couldn’t sit at the bar (with a heavy attitude) because the kitchen was backed up, mind you there was 5 people at the bar. I told the hostess ok and that we just wanted drinks to kill time. She again told me no and then walked away without asking if I wanted to be put on the waiting list. Mind you while I waited for her to give herself an attitude adjustment, 4 people walked in the bar and she didn’t say a word! Now I know applesbee is not a high class establishment but that doesn’t mean you can’t treat us with respect. Needless to say the that hostess needs training in just being a good human. As I was coming through Hooksett, I decided to stop at Applebees for dinner. As I came in, I was greeted by a very pleasant host, who sat me at the bar, as per my request. As I looked over my menu, I couldn’t choose! Everything sounded so good. I decided on the 3 Cheese Chicken Penne and a margarita. The chicken was tender and sauce in the penne was phenomenal. The margarita was a welcomed addition to my meal. My bartender Sandy was amazing and was very attentive and made friendly conversation which was nice, as I came in alone. Overall great dining experience and will definitely be back again.
