Ate dinner here an hour before we had to go to a hockey game, the food was delivered promptly. Nice waitress, the only minor complaint was that the booth I sat at had the blinds open so the sun was hitting me right in the eyes. I ordered the zesty lime chicken with rice, it was frickin good. I can't remember ever ordering that at any other Applebee's before so I want to try it again at a different one to see if it's just as good as this one on Mesa was.
Paid $64 left a $7 tip.
Applebees never disappoints! This location really is hit or miss. They have some of the BEST servers and also some of the not so best. But we still enjoy coming here. Plus it’s open late!!! Tortilla soup is pretty good - I HIGHLY recommend the chicken pasta!!
Normally this Applebee's on Trans Mtn is very good. Good food, good service, good atmosphere. But today (10-7-24) for some reason, the waitress seemed a little distracted and at the end of our time there she had added, on three items that were not ours and was going to charge us for the pick 6 wings offer they are promoting this month. So that was disappointing. Honestly it didn't seem very busy for her to make such mistakes but I've never seen her there before so perhaps she's new. Either way I would think she would have some sort of experience and not be clueless as to what is expected.
This Applebees on Mesa has always been great. The service has always been above and beyond. I’m from Florida and the Applebees there isn’t great but this location is phenomenal on service. Only 1 issue with food in the many times we’ve been there. Also, want to shout them out for doing something for Veterans Day. A lot of restaurants don’t participate and my husband went for lunch today and received a free meal. Love that!
I eat here like three times a week today they left something out of my bag I called and asked if I could come and get it they left me on hold for 20 minutes only to pick up the phone talking about I watched the cameras I had to do my due diligence I see where they put the Chicken Wonton Tacos on the top there were four containers, there were NOT four containers in my bag. And while I understand one customer not coming back doesn't make a difference to the bottom line I will not be spending my money in this Applebee's going forward. Tez Moon this is not how you treat regular customers.
On veterans Day , the old woman with glasses tooked 15 mins to sit us , Adam the server was so rude and asked me and my friend if we just got a table , I said yes if there's a problem we can go back and wait he gave us an ugly look and said hmmmm! sure in a rude manner , we ordered salads and our salads came with no ranch and we asked for ranch to a couple of servers that we're passing by none of them even listen to us and ignore us, rude servers do not deserve a good tip at all, I rather give it to the cooks than them
We came to this business establishment rather late in the evening possibly before closing time. However they welcomed us with open arms we were seated. The temperature in the restaurant was decent and doable. We ordered mango smoothies that were absolutely delicious.
I had chicken quesadillas with extra sour cream and a side of mashed potatoes. My meal was as expected, very simple yet delicious. My partner had chicken glazed macaroni and cheese. The chicken tenders were rather tough and not as I appealing as the menus presentation. However he took the chicken tenders off and tells not to eat them and enjoy the pasta portion of the meal. No complaints there.
We ordered the Double Chocolate Brownie dessert with ice cream. At this time they were doing a promotion for movie tickets if you spent $50 we did reach a reasonable amount on our receipt to get those 2 movie tickets.
My server Kyle K was really great. He was checking up on us and our drinks were always full. The food here was also really good. Overall n9thing to complain about.
