This Applebee's is old and tired. The service was pathetic. It took us 1.5 hours to eat here on a dead afternoon. I tipped the server $11.00 on a $128.00 bill, and I didn't even want to do that, but my wife, a former waitress, made me do it. The waitress circled the tip suggestion for me when she saw how much I was leaving her. The food was good when we finally got it. This place reminds me of the Peoria location before they closed it.
Update: A manager called me and listened to my wife's and my grievances. The manager made it right by understanding our complaint. She offered to comp the meal and we declined because we just wanted good service and food at a place we love with our grandchildren. The people in charge of this place are serious about having a nice family restaurant with good food and excellent service.
This Applebee's was very clean and nicely decorated. The food was very good. I did the 9.99 mega deal which was bacon cheese burger with fries and drink for 9.99. I am a big guy and it was plenty of food. My wife got the honey mustard grilled chicken salad. Problem was waitress did not bring dressing. When she finally came back near us I had to tell her that and she said I thought you didn't want it because of gluten issue. We never talked to her about dressing only the breadstick they serve with a gluten sensitive meal. So almost 10 minutes later she returned with honey mustard dressing. I had to flag her down twice for a drink refills. restaurant and food great service not.
Worst service ever!! I would put no stars, but you have to choose one to write a review! How was the food? Don’t know never received it!! People next to me got theirs when they ordered 20 minutes after me!! No check in from the server!! Just horrendous service!! I will NEVER go back to this location!! HIGHLY RECOMMEND STAYING AWAY FROM THIS LOCATION!!
Went out for dinner with the family there were 4 adults and 2 kids the place was dead took 15 minutes to be seated even the 2 people before us where still waiting for a table . Then took about 10 minutes to get waited on . Then after we ordered it took another 10 minutes to get are drinks. food was not good at all I got the Quesadilla burger which I always get and the meat was dry and had no flavor. my husband and son got the chicken bacon sandwich they also said it was dry and no flavor. the kids corn dog meal was good and the Mac and cheese dish was good the kids chicken strips looked like they had been left in the fryer to long. We love Applebee's but this time it was awful.
It was a Friday night and stopped in at Applebee's and after being sat at a Hightower for less than 3 minutes the table next to us was complaining about the poor service and slow food service time. After waiting at our high top for 10 minutes without service we walked out. Poor service, poor management.
This place frequently gets my order wrong. It's very frustrating that the kitchen staff doesn't read and pay attention to the orders put in. Details matter! Another problem I find is that I order things that sound like they'll be very flavorful and they end up being VERY bland. They need to season things. I need to he able to taste the ingredients stated on the menu as well. I want to love the place but they get it wrong more than they get it right.
Was there around 1ish not busy took 10 minutes to take our order not to mention 2 other couple's that came in ordered after us and received their food first. Our food was cold after waiting 45 min for burgers are you kidding me. Told waitress we we not happy. She gave our bill said have nice day... the music they had on you couldn't understand...
The food is good.
Employees were cross serving the same tables, while many others walked around. It took 15 minutes to get a drink refill. The place wasn't busy.
