Waited 20 minutes to get sat because every table in there was dirty… 6 tables actually had people. But still had to wait because it was filthy. Then got sat by the host and she had to get our drinks and said our server will be over shortly… 25 minutes later she finally comes and we order. 35 minutes later got out appetizers (mozzarella sticks were burnt)… then another 30 minutes later get our food and it came out cold. Got there @7:00 didn’t leave till 9:30. I would understand if the place was busy because I am a server myself… but it was empty. Never going back:(
This review is a little late but I think the burger I had was called a classic cheese burger which was good and hot but sadly I can't said the same thing for the fries, because fries were cold and some of them were hard. And also I think that waitress didn't want to be at work that day.
It's my first time visiting Lancaster SC, I'm currently here on business. Decided to visit this Applebee's location with absolutely no expectations whatsoever and I was completely blown away! The service, atmosphere and food was phenomenal! All of the staff was attentive, anticipating not just all of my needs but the rest of the patrons as well. Hands down, this is the best location I have ever visited! I wasn't blessed with the opportunity of meeting all of the staff, but I was able to meet Promise and Whitney! If they are a representation of Applebee's commitment to customer service and satisfaction, this is the only restaurant I will be frequenting during my stay here!
We keep telling ourselves we'll never come back, but pickins in Lancaster are slim. To be fair their have been a couple of times the food and service have been good, even great, but more often than not, it was as this last visit. Generally, waiting to be seated doesn't bother me, but no employees were on the floor for quite some time. They had most of the boothes blocked off, so we had to sit at a table, and every chair was uneven. The waitress did take our order and drinks quickly, but it was a good 40 minutes before the food came out. The ribs were great. The boneless wings were inedible. Again, thank goodness for the waitress who took them off the bill, but "Never again".
I tell myself every time, I'll never come back. And I don't for at least a year then decide to give them another shot. Did curbside pick up. After waiting in the parking lot for 30 minutes after my promised time, I walked it to see where my order was. Took about 10 minutes for someone to help me. I asked her how long my food had been sitting on the counter. She shrugged her shoulders and said it had been a while. Got home, food was cold. Neither entree was correct. Can't remember when the last time I had a good experience here was. All the places in this small town that close, they need to add Applebee's to the list.
Cook needs to go work at the car wash. They bought out my steak with cold mashed potatoes and broccoli. Just plain sorry. Sent the garbage back and walked out.
So after a 14 hour day at work, I figured I would stop at Waffle House on the way home. I went in, sat down, and was promptly greeted by a male server and placed my order.
When he brought my soda, no straw and no ice. I just assumed maybe the ice maker was down and left it alone.
I sat there about 15 minutes watching everyone just stand near the register talking. Soon, one of the girls that was working asked me if I was ready to order. That was when the male server spoke up and said that I already ordered and he forgot to put it in.
Really?
This was 8/27/2024 at about 9pm
I just offered to pay for my drink and left. After my long day at work, I didn’t have the patience to start my order over. So I went home.
Party of 7. No alcohol drinks no special orders just basic menu stuff. Food came out for party inconsistently half of drinks wrong, most condiments forgotten, took 15 minutes for butter after meal served, by then broccoli cold, asked for drink refill, 15 minutes before she came back. Asked for the check , after 20 minutes went to another waitress to get it. Plates served to wrong people, 4 plates came out ice cold. I have eaten at applebees in 18 states in the last 25 years. Worst ever!! Will never go back. !!
