If I could give it no stars I would.
I walked in with a party of 6 (empty restaurant with handful of people at the bar) and we were pointed to the table to sit at and handed all the menus, okay red flag 1.
Waited 20 minutes before I got up to ask if a waiter was coming to the table. Their response was "Oh we don't know where your waiter is."
Finally someone came over and we ordered. Waited another 20-30 minutes for our food and my Sirloin was well done when I asked for medium rare. Then apologized and then got me another that was cold and PURPLE in the middle.
Manager came over and stated that that is a medium rare. I couldn't disagree more.
There were multiple mistakes made from everyone's meal.
We work near by and wanted it to be our go to spot but we were more than disappointed and do not recommend anyone going there.
Terrible food and service. Ordered curbside WITH tip and I had to walk in and pick up my own food. After three employees walked by and avoided eye contact, I went through the to go bags to find mine. Surely they can’t be serious. Food was bland, greasy, and overpriced. Never again.
Out of draft beer! Only 3 selections of bottle beer! Cheap napkin and silverware. All stalls in men’s bathroom had feces in them. Drinks are weak alcohol and overly sweet. Pretzels were raw dough inside. Worst experience I have ever had at an Applebees!! Better yet any restaurant. The price is totally not worth it!!!!
do NOT go to the Germantown Applebees
my friend and i came to applebees in germantown around 7:45pm on a wednesday night. when we came on, there was no host. we waited about 5 minutes before we were seated. about 10 minutes later a server came around with menus for us. we shortly ordered after as we had already been at the restaurant about 20-25 mins. as we were seated at our booth, a DJ started setting up right next to us. we asked multiple other servers if we could move tables as we could not find our server and he had not come by.
shortly after we picked up our stuff and moved tables (we were finally able to talk to the server). at this point a little over 30 mins had passed. we did not receive any of our food (appetizers included) and did not get our drinks from the bar. other tables that had arrived after us had gotten drinks from the bar and food orders delivered.
after about 40-45 minutes the food arrived. the appetizer that was brought was not the one that we ordered. the food was cold. extra condiments that were requested were not brought out. at this point we were both frustrated. we understood that the store was busy but it didn’t make sense for the poor food quality and poor service only because the store is busy.
after going through issues the entire time, our bill was incorrect at the end of the night. we were finally able to pay at 9:30 after waiting about 20 or so minutes. this was the by far worst restaurant experience i’ve ever had and i wouldn’t wish this on my worst enemy
The All-you-can-eat is great and the service was very attentive. But the AC was unbearably cold, I had goosebumps throughout dinner and it really bothered me.
Unfortunately l can't give this location a better rating. Our table we were seated at was sticky and in the corner of our booth there was dirty fork,knife left from who ever sat there last. We received our drinks but they didn't taste like there was any alcohol in them. The chicken fingers were dry and the French fries were cold. I'm sorry to say for over $80.00 dollars l can't justify going back. I certainly can't say it's acceptable to seat people at a dirty table. The food was so dry just a sad experience.
I have been to Applebee's many time but this is the only time it was worth leaving a review. We had the all you can eat deal. Food was OK for what we paid. But our server was the star of the night. Sandy was awesome she had a great smile to go along with her wonderful personality. Which made me focus on her ability and knowledge of her job. Not once did I have to ask for a refill on my drink. When she walked passed and saw a empty glass at the table, she was on it. She came back to our table very often checking to make sure we were good. 5 ???? ???? ???? ???? ???? for Sandy.

Went to Applebee's in Germantown MD
for Veteran's Day to have dinner with my husband who is a served in Vietnam and friends who served in the Marines and
the British Nurse Corps.
Everyone got their food except me. I waited and waited tried to find our waitress but she was not anywhere.
Everyone I came with had finished their dinner and I was still waiting. Finally the manager came and said to be patient.
Another 10 minutes goes by still no food. Spoke to the manager Brittany and
asked not to be charged for my food. Everyone was finished eating at this point. She was rude and sarcastic and would not admit they were at fault.
Is it too much to ask that food is served
to everyone so you eat together.
I will never ever set foot in Applebee's
again!!!
