Applebee’s is one of those restaurants that you can never go wrong. I absolutely love their bundle dinner specials, daily happy hours and late night happy hours. Applebee’s alway comes to mind when it’s late and we don’t feel like cooking. Beat fast food any day of the week. They always have these $1.00 special drinks. My kids love the burger here and half price appetizers. Service is always great. After a long day at Hersey park, we decided to stop by here. Great food, great drinks special and most importantly you don’t have to spent over $100.00 for a family dinner.
As a former employee and a veteran I never expected to receive the service I got on Veterans Day. It wasn’t as busy as I’ve encountered before but there were families and people waiting of course fellow veterans but I was placed at a corner table (which a family could’ve been placed) I was with my brother (also veteran) and the gentleman server acted as if we had already eaten. We were not addressed for over 10 minutes and when he finally came over he was very personable we had appetizers that came out over cooked and by the time we received our dinner we had to ask for to go boxes. The service has Never been this way when I was there. Oh I understand that veterans have a selective menu on Veterans Day but we ordered off the regular menu.
Arrived around 2:00 PM on Saturday. Our drinks and appetizer arrived fast. The entrees were hot. I feasted on perfectly cooked medium Steak and Shrimp Parmesan, my wife had Bourbon Street Chicken and Shrimp with no mushrooms, usually her order gets messed up at other Applebees due to the allergens she tries to avoid in food. No issues at this location. My son had Blackened Cajun Salmon. Our waitress Kathy provided excellent service. Three cheers!
FYI - adding Shrimp and Parmesan sauce to the Blackened Cajun Salmon makes a great dish even more spectacular! Tried it on our recent visit and it hit the spot.
Great food, friendly staff, and a good overall ambiance. Lots of parking space. Highly recommended !
I attended today with my wife and son. I seen something today that really changed my opinion on this establishment. We ordered two appetizers the won ton tacos and nachos. After waiting about 10 minutes, I watched the bartender walk over to the booth three down from us, drop off my appetizers at their table. About 1 min later the bartender takes them off there table, takes them to the back, one minute later our waitress brings it to our table. Some people might be ok with that, but it was a bit disturbing. Food was average, fries were crazy salty. It's a shame been coming here for years,but that will be the last.
I was there last night. I don't know what happened but my salad was swimming in water. I got very sick an hour and half after my dinner. I spent the night in the bathroom. The lettuce needs rinsed a drained properly. It wasn't. Some people are sensitive to the preserves they spray on salad mix. Please take more precautions. Rinse and drain fully.

Our bus group arrived with 28 passengers with a small window to make our 2 o’clock show at Hershey theater
We were seated promptly
She took all the drink orders , delivered them
Took all food orders which we received in a short manner ( shout out to the kitchen)and with minimum assistance served them
We got out quickly - she even chase us to our bus with a forgotten credit card!!
She did this all with grace & a pleasant attitude- Thank you !!!!
Best Applebees I have ever visited in the state of PA!!! For the greeter, to our waitress/bartender, to our exit, the entire experience was delightful. Our waitress Mandy was very attentive and our food as well as our drinks were beyond delicious. The atmosphere was nice. If you are in the area looking for great food and drinks please go visit this establishment. You will not be disappointed.
