Was a relaxing eat, while I did sit at the tonight. Even being understaffed, the waitress was attentive in ensuring that I had everything I needed.
The meal was great, the chicken sandwhich was spicy and just the right amount of sweet to go with it. A little messy, the meal needs to be served with wet naps. I would do it again.
Applebees is great this Applebees is absolutely terrible, me and my wife no longer eat in there. the men’s room is so disgusting I had to hold my breath while using the urinal the thing must have never been cleaned before I had to take a deep breath over my shoulder and hold it so I didn’t gag anymore, the food is blah mediocre at best. We no longer eat in and we no longer will eat there at all, we decided to curbside pick up because we didn’t wanna go in and we sat in our car with our baby for over 30 minutes I decided to go in and get a refund and they asked for my name and it was sitting in the bar for who knows how long, just another it’s not my job mentality, the kitchen worker probably just sat it there thinking it’s someone else’s job to get it to me.
When we visit, we always ask to be seated in Alayia's section, because she provides exceptional customer service. They need an upgraded menu that offers some new items. They run good specials on food and have decent drink and beer prices. Karaoke every other Wed is fun, but should be earlier. 9pm is late for a week night.
My sister and our husbands recently had an early dinner at this Applebee's (Harrisonburg, VA). Our waitress was Valerie. She was great from the get go!! She was friendly, attentive, and industrious. She was handling the bar as well as several tables. Yet we never felt slighted in any way. Both my sister and I have had waitressing experience in the past. So we know what it takes to give great customer service. Valerie proved that she knows the same. A great asset to your restaurant.
The waiter was absolutely fantastic but the manager was being rude to both her and his bartender after we ordered drinks. After having 3 of the dollar drinks he cut us off for no reason and became very rude to those around him. Hope the waiter and bartender both find a better employer.
Went out for dinner tonight with my daughter. Her and I we're seated in a area with no server. We knew what we wanted before arriving. Unfortunately, we sat and waited over 20 minutes to get served. The food was delicious! We had a fun time, the server we ended up getting was very nice. The Mgr did give us a discount so that is a plus. Overall I would recommend this restaurant to anyone. Our food was hot and fresh.
Very rude waiter who made us feel uncomfortable. He also didn't even refill our drinks. Food was overpriced, small portions. The tomato soup was ???? And the salad was brown. Was so disappointed for spending my time and money here. Never again!!
The spinach n artichoke dip, grilled chicken with garlic taters n broccoli, classic cheeseburger. They were all delicious and had a great meal.
