We had an amazing experience! Deja was the bartender and a fantastic server for us! The restaurant got super busy but they made sure we were taken and everybody else!!! The manager was super nice ????
After doing some furniture hunting on the weekend and coming up with nothing, we decided to eat at Applebee's.
Walking in we were immediately greeted with happiness by the hostess. I must say the lady who seated us was nothing but a breath of fresh air to communicate with. She made the initial experience a great one.
We waited for almost 10 minutes before our waitress arrived. It wasn't too much of a problem for me and I didn't notice it until the wife mentioned it. We were talking so the time seemed to go fast in my mind.
By the time she came we already knew everything that we wanted. We ordered our drinks and an appetizer along with our meal.
The drinks came but the appetizer did not make it. By the time we got the food, the appetizer just a footnote in memory.
No big deal on my end or for.my wife. I just want to make sure that we weren't charged for it ultimately in the end.
The food was good. The wife said her food was good . Her only issue was her mac and cheese didn't have very much cheese on it , although she says it tasted good. For me, it was my typical expectation when going to Applebee's. Nothing was off with my food.
The waitress on the other hand, was a different story. She seemed to be new or had some internal issue with us or was extremely overwhelmed.
Usually when the food is brought to the table, they take a little bit of time to figure out who ordered what. She came to the table and just put both meals down and left.
I normally am able to get refills of my drink but with the lack of her presence I was left thirsty, while eating the ribs.
To her credit, she did ask how the food was but at this point everything was almost long ago eaten.
And at the end of the meal before the bill was even in my hand she was asking to process my credit card.
When she brought it back she only had one part of the receipt. Of course the one with the tip but the breakdown of what we paid for, I had to ask for. I wanted to make sure that we were not charged for the appetizer.
All in all my experience there was ok food wise. Customer service from the waitress was a two-star. I had no idea if she was being rude or if she was that overwhelmed but she wasn't attentive. The hostess was six stars without question. Either way it didn't ruin my evening out with my wife, whose drink I'm told was strong. But that's a different story.
The music was at a decent volume. The music selection was diverse. The servers were very nice. Genuine smiles say a lot about a business and their vibe was contagious! We had a great time with friends and Applebee's was a great choice!!!????
To the chef...that quesadilla burger was FINE!

Had a disappointing experience today at the Applebee’s in Wilson, NC with Erica E. We waited an hour for our appetizer and main course, despite at least three other families (who got there after) being served before us. While we were eating, the family next to us received their food within about 10 minutes. Our server seemed visibly annoyed whenever we asked for assistance. For instance, when we requested to split our appetizer between two bills, she quickly took the receipts without saying a word. Due to her poor service, we chose not to leave a tip, and as we were leaving, she muttered something under her breath. This will definitely be our last visit. I’m not one to leave negative reviews, but this was my aunt’s first time at Applebees, and this experience left a bad taste in our mouths.
The waitress set us, took our orders, and forgot us. Thanks to Rob (one of the managers) for bringing out our food and the follow up service. The food was delicious ????
Waited 30 minutes for two little bowls of soup and when I received my food both bowls was LESS THAN HALF WAY FULL . Like I’m saying they gave me two bowls and both was LESS THAN NOT MORE THAN NOT A LITTLE MORE THAN HALF WAY LESS THAN HALF THE BOWL WAS FILLED WITH SOUP AND FOR THEM TO GIVE IT OUT TO A PAYING CUSTOMER IS RIDICULOUS. Management how are you even handing your store ?! And mind you this is not the first time I had a problem when ordering the chicken tortilla soup I’ve had problems more than twice with this location and the soup mind you the soup is all I get so they have completely ruined my dinner for tonight because everything is now closed. This location sucks the staff is very lazy I highly WOULD NOT recommend until they get their staff together. 0 out of 10 . Update they got in touch with me saying they would send me a gift card and I never got it and after trying to contact them they still did not satisfy a paying customer. Highly disappointed.
Brought my son and granddaughter midday. Quiet relaxed. Superb variety for kids choices! I got the chips and guac and ribs. Oh word. Delicious fall off the bone. Very nicely priced also. Top notch wait staff and met the manager very friendly.
15 minutes to get a drink after it was ordered. Lots of people standing around talking. Took waaay too long to get what we ordered. 3rd time coming here over the last 6 mos and have had issues each time. Will not be back.
