NEVER AGAIN!!!. I want sunday afternoon with my son to eat some good food which i remembered from years ago.
Unfortunately in the menu there was not match to choose and almost all with french fries. No greens!!! We choose some staff, where waiting long time, waitress was slow and forgot a lot of times what we ordered, got ribs without sauce and coleslaw, shrimp's without sauce, she forgot about my drink and later to give as boxes. ufff not recommend that place.
Long story short...Great service, great food, great staff and wonderful environment. This place never disappoints. My only suggestion is if they could revisit the combo menu ( 2 for 26 etc).
Food and service was great. Everything came out at a reasonable amount of time and the waiters did a good job following up every 15 minutes to see we needed anything. Now that it's winter, just make sure to turn up the heat a bit to keep people that sit by the window booths warm. But great service overall.
Erin started off treating us so well I came for my daughter bday since it’s on a Sunday . It all started because I was wondering why my bucket didn’t have the orange and the cherries in it . I thought she was going to be more understanding and just swap it out. As I was expecting it because of good things where and Up to this point she’s been nothing but great . Then it turned for the worse she goes your not going to drink this drink because of an orange and I looked at her in aww then it just kept on going down hill . After the last incident I wasn’t going to leave her no more then 10 percent. Then as I’m going to my car to grab at least a cash tip she comes out Applebees flicking me off in front of my family and yelling at me in front of my kids . Honestly stay away and avoid Erin at all cost. The worse part is she’s says I’m an embarrassment to my family just wow. I hope I got her name right and I feel she’ll just do it again and I feel like management didn’t even send her home either she was still waitressing another table. At this point it’s going to corporate and I will be getting my money back
Horrible experience, bad manager and awful food. I ordered a 6oz sirloin that looked skimp, clearly not 6oz, which i was able to eat in less than 5 minutes. My toddler nephew had the chicken sandwich from them which tasted as if it was fried in stale oil. He ended up throwing up everything he ate right after we paid for the dinner. We went in the kitchen to find the manager and found her and the kitchen staff all standing and watching us on the camera monitor. When asked for a refund for the food that caused my 3 year old nephew to throw up, she said no. We explained to her that the reason he threw up was because of her food since he was fine all day but she said "you should take him to the hospital if he's not feeling well." We just left after that, not worth arguing. Worst experience and I've been to applebees many times, just that location and manager was nowhere near the standard I'm used too.
Manager Chris and our server Andrew handled our concern very quickly. Andrew did really great job knowing it’s also his first day! Manager Chris was very helpful! We’ll definitely come back!
Applebee's, a neighborhood eatery! This time I had the lime chicken with rice ,the chicken has a crust of smashed tortillas and cheese covering it , the chicken was juicy and good ????, I have been to this location a few times now and it depends when you come for service or a lack there of! Time before last stopped in around 3 pm and was seated, waited 10 minutes before walking out due to no one coming to my table ,This would be a poor staffing issue and falls directly on the poor management that day! My last experience was fine , like I said ,this place is hit or miss ,just wish they can get their shit together and be consistent but you don,t always get managers that care enough to go that extra mile to hire more then one waitress or waiter or pay attention to the customers who walk in , yesterday I had a nice greeter who didn't speak a word of English so I just sat myself down, eventually she came to the table to drop off menus but if you want to ask her a question you best get a translator, I believe they are hiring illegals for certain positions and you don,t see anyone their that even remotely looks like a manager or anyone coming around to tables to see how everything is, Applebee's will eventually be one of the chains that will quietly close in the next few years just like TGI Fridays is now , the menu needs to have new menu items and the restaurants should have periodic cleanings, my friend was bit by a dog from a booth next to us when he got bit walking by the table where the dog lunged from underneath, Never knew dogs were allowed in this restaurant but no harm done ,the dogs teeth never broke the skin but scared the hell out of my friend since we never heard the dog until he lunged from under the table! If Applebee's wants to stay in business they need new managers running things instead of college kids running things without any real direction, yesterday there was 1 server at 2:30 and there was a least 10 tables that had people on them , looks like the service to the people suffers because of staffing issues!
Quiyara was our server and Kim the manager on duty. First, Quiyara is the cutest server ever with a fabulous smile and an even more fabulous personality!! And, she’s a great server too…as a matter of fact, I’m very specific about ordering food and how I want it cooked and seasoned. Quiyara was so happy to write everything down and make sure it was perfect before it came out of the kitchen to our table. She was wonderful and the food was exactly the way we wanted it. Kim the manager stopped by our table just to say hello and make sure everything was the way we wanted it. She was delightful to talk to and we had a great conversation. We invited her to sit with us to chat some more but she really had get back to work. Understandable! Before she left, I asked her to give Quiyara a raise and an extra week of vacation lol! We really had a great experience at this location (Parsippany, NJ) and would come back 1000 times more! Highly recommend!
