Their perfect margarita is truly PERFECT! And I know my margaritas. This place served us quickly and we had 2 small kids in tow. Great waitress that took good care of us.
My husband and I enjoyed a mini date here. The first two items I tried to order were out. I ended up getting the oriental salad and it was very good! We relaxed, had a couple drinks and played trivia.
Service is so-so. I had the chicken breast bbq bacon sandwich. Arrived after 22 mins and was hot. Had a side of crispy onion rings and a sweet tea. Tea was not very sweet but was strong and fresh. My other party had the endless shrimp and boneless chicken. He did not like the honey bbq sauce but loved the shrimp.
The best thing I had here was the cold beer, the female bartender was VERY rude to a pick up customer and VERY unacceptable, their was employees walking around with out masks on and under there nose. I had the bourbon chicken with shrimp, the chicken was over charred and the garlic mashed potatoes were cold, I will definitely not be coming back. ????????????
We were there after Chiefs Camp. The food was great and our server was super friendly!
I’m not the one to complain as I have worked food industry we have gave this place multiple chances it’s always empty maybe 2 ppl at the bar and 2 other small tables I called and placed an order over the phone one time showed up 36 mins later my order was forgot about, then made wrong, the second time I placed online came in waiting another 20 minutes order again made wrong, one time we went in and waited 45 minutes which would not have been a huge deal except there was 5 other ppl in the whole place, no drink refills unless we asked the waitress and the host stayed in the back 90% of the time, we tried again on Saturday there was 2 older people at the bar 1 table with 2 men and a women and her daughter that were about to leave we got sit down and gave drink orders we both orderd alcohol they brought my kids drinks but we waited 35 mins for our alcohol drinks asked several times and was told there being made we could see the bar and see the 2 lady’s just talking about 5 mins after we sat down a women and her 2 kids came in the stood there waiting to be sat for 10 minutes before sitting there on the lounge area nobody ever came to ask them anything after 35 minutes of waiting and seeing nobody do anything we got up and left went to Texas Roadhouse and about 2 mins after being seated we see the lady and her 2 kids walked in she said she stood/sat there the whole time waiting to be sat and nobody ever even walked by her! Absolutely crazy especially since the place is always empty!
My sister and I were at Applebee's yesterday for her birthday. We had the new Whole Lotta Bacon burger with their famous onion rings. It was a great burger and it did have a lot of bacon and a really good new sauce, along with all the other toppings and of course the onion rings are the best in St. Joseph in my opinion. Our waitress was cheerful and very helpful. The service was really quick, which was surprising for a Saturday. It was altogether a good experience, I recommend you give them at try, great job Applebee's!
Ordered a full slab of ribs. Server was nice but food was disappointing. I struggled to gnaw the tough meat between the ribs. No meat on the top or bottom of the ribs. Just the meat between them. It was NOT tender at all. The sides were good, but the ribs were so horrible I brought them home to my dad and didn't say anything. The next day he ate them and complained to me about it. I had brought my mom and my kids out to eat there while visiting in town and next time I visit I will pick somewhere else!
