We were gifted a gift card for Applebees so found one close to us so we could use it. We got there around 11:45 and were seated right away. We ordered the 2 for $35 which came with an appetizer and 2 full sized entrees. Their menu prices were pretty expensive so this seemed like a good deal. We got the boneless wings with sweet Asian chili sauce and ranch on the side. They were really good. I ordered the bacon cheeseburger with fries and my bf got the sirloin steak (medium) with mashed potatoes and broccoli. Mine was really good but my bfs was not great at first. His steak was really unevenly cooked and parts were well done while others were rare and the mashed potatoes were cold. We had to track someone down to mention this to them because no one came by and they did correct it. On the second attempt it was much better! Overall I’m glad they corrected it but it took forever.
Steven was an amazing server! Applebees is lucky to have Steven. He was ontop of everything I needed & was so funny & treated me like family & I know it’s just a restaurant & it’s his job but he’s AMAZING AT WHAT HE DOES !!!! 10/10 service 10/10 food

Emily is a phenomenal server! She is so polite and considerate. Appetizers, drinks and entrees were all delivered on time, always making sure we were satisfied with our meals and drinks. Nothing but good things to say about Emily and this location. Thank you
We went recently and I have nothing but good things to say about our waiter, Damien. He was sooo good with my toddler. I would come back just because of him

This review is based off an experience at the Hawthorne, NY Applebees on 10/13/24 - we really want to shout out our server, Matthew L. He is the best server we've ever had - at any restaurant. He was personable, funny, attentive and thoughtful. He was clearly busy and working hard with many tables, but we never felt overlooked. He's the type of waiter that notices what you may need before you even realize it. The food was great, but Matthew really made our day. He's awesome and I hope to have him as a server again.
Steven was outstanding; he was very attentive, friendly, and efficient. He ensured my meal was perfect, offered great recommendations, and made me feel genuinely welcome. Truly top-notch service! Keep up the good work, Steven!
I like this Applebee's because it's more quiet than other locations closer to the city. Service is usually better and faster too.
