Great place to hangout get drinks and on Thursdays karaoke is awesome. However lately food has not been great. Ordered the Bourbon Street chicken and it looked and tasted like it was old I get it all the time plate is sizzling has onions and mushrooms and juicy what I got ya was chicken breast and a few shrimp on top and no toppings no I'm sorry they were underneath and looked like it was burnt and from the grease trap. Told the waitress and she merely said sorry to hear that. On the plus side she said she talked to the manager and they took a few dollars off. In my experience managers usually come out check on things ask the customer how can they make it right or get customer feed back, nothing. Waste of money I hope this is seen and they do better won't be back for a while.

My boyfriend and I love Applebee's. We've gone to this particular location before and had a bad experience. But since it is close to where I live we wanted to give it another shot. Cannot remember the name of our server but it initially it took him about 15mins to get our waters and it was all downhill from there. We both ordered the Four Cheese Mac & Cheese with Chicken Tenders. I wish I could accurately describe the way these looked. It was HORRIBLE. The chicken tenders resembled rabbit droppings. We were honestly confused it looked so bad. We originally asked for them to be redone but were so disgusted by the entire experience we just asked for the check.
There was a gentleman in normal clothes hanging around our table. He made a comment like "Not hungry?" And we proceeded to have a conversation about it. I'm guessing he was management or the owner but never found the courage to introduce himself. We referenced what the meal looked like in the menu vs what we were given and were told (this is real), "You can't expected any meal to look like the picture." For the sake of Applebee's and it's corporation I hope this man is NOT the general manager or owner. I would love to see a real response to this message and not the normal glad handing "We are so sorry, we will strive to do better, etc" but I very much doubt it.
On another note shout out to the Applebee's in Citrus Park. Never experienced anything other than amazing service and food.
Very profound experience at Applebee's. I've been to Applebee's in Florida, New York and a few states in between. I've always found them to remarkabley consistent. In the restaurant business that is not easy especially with multi units that are not always owned by the same person. This particular experience happened with only an order of two cups of tea. Someone passed out and fell onto the floor. A twenty year old male who had recently left the hospital was having a seizure. I quickly jumped into action on instinct as I have had to do many times dealing with the public. But I by all means am no hero. The real heros are Hillsboro County District Fire & Rescue. They took of it as they always do. God bless them and all they do for us. I feel they never get the credit.
I've been coming to this Applebee's for over 10 years and never had such a bad dining experience as last night 09/19/24. They were obviously understaffed and wouldn't allow us to sit on the patio. Fine. High Top at bar area. They weren't even that busy, but you could tell by how slow cocktails came from the bar that one barback isn't sufficient. Hell, I even ordered another round of drinks when we ordered are meals, and my damn food came from the kitchen before my drinks did. I don't even have the time to get into how screwed up our two separate bills were. Thanks to the kitchen staff for making the food great though. 5 stars to them. Front of house and speed of service really sucked.
I had saw some positive reviews & negative. So I called ask management if they've improved per complaints because I wanted to go for dinner since our freezer/ refrigerator still not working properly since Milton.Let me say from greeter to our waitress was warm/ friendly patient ( my son ordered his food). I must say it was a great experience. We had delicious/ fresh hot food shortly after ordering. Even got an extra Spinach dip by mistake! Salena
Mary was AWESOME best service , kinda ,patient , honest . We need more servers like Mary !! Thank you for making our time memorable .
Mary is a fantastic waitress the way she LIT UP THE ROOM was awesome. She was the cherry on top for our dinner. She was like a distant cousin you haven't met in a while. The food was also great.
The waitress Mary was very pleasant and accommodating. I had a hair in my food and although not her fault she went above and beyond to help. She was watching our needs closely and we didn’t have to hunt her down for drinks or sauces and she checked on us constantly. She provided amazing service
