We were pleasantly surprised by this gem during our Thanksgiving weekend getaway. The restaurant was clean and well-maintained. The menu offered a variety of delicious options to satisfy everyone's taste buds. We highly recommend this place and will make it a must-visit whenever we're in the area.
Apple Valley Cafe is a fantastic stop!
The food was delicious! I had the pulled pork sliders w/ chips and the hubby had a burger & fries. Generous portion sizes and good prices ???? And y'all check the Pic of the "condiment cow" ???? so fun!!
Very friendly staff too! Great spot for a casual meal with quality flavors. Highly recommend!

A local told us about this and we are beyond pleased. Nestled at the ‘quiet side’ of the Smokies, this place had a cafe, general store and an outdoor shop. The burger was juicy with loads of fixin’s. The chicken salad sandwich with 2 thick slabs of bacon was phenomenal. The portion was generous. The fries are thick in the middle and crispy at the ends due to its unique shape. Highly recommended if you are near the Townsend side of the park.
Starving family on the hunt for dinner after a long day in the sun and this looked the ticket. Based on another review I felt safe ordering a burger on a gluten-free bun. It was so good! Our family of seven was so happy with the atmosphere and food, we weren't thinking about reviews until later. I had to sneak a pic of my youngest son's double smash burger with a fried egg on top. Bonus, the staff were amazing! We were all so happy to find this place ????
The Apple Valley Mountain Village and Cafe is a great spot to get a bite to eat. The atmosphere is fun and the service is friendly and quick. There is a good deal of indoor and outdoor seating and very clean restrooms. A really nice spot to have breakfast.
This cafe is such a great find! My husband had thought he ordered onion rings, but hadn’t. The waitress brought him a small batch of them to our table “ because she felt bad”!! It’s such a luxury anymore to find nice people!
My Nachos were hands down the best!

Absolutely amazing food. We ended up having our last brunch before heading back home after a Labour day long weekend. And we could not have been happier.
We had the Fried Apple Pie ????, the fried chicken sandwich (please please add bacon - it was soooooooo good!), the Milkshake was great too. Pork sliders were good but not exceptional - if you don't have space for it in your belly, you won't be missing out on a lot. We had chocolate and banana Milkshake (both were refreshing and good) we had fresh brownie and even though it was too fudgy for my taste the day was already made for me.
Recommended: absolutely!
*Gluten free allergy*. The staff was very knowledgeable on the food I can and can’t have. They even provided a gluten free bun which is so nice to have when you just want a juicy burger. Thank you so much. They had an Oreo brownie (not gluten free ????) that made me question being sick for the next few weeks because it looks AMAZING! Food was great, outside seating was perfect! Thanks for making my gluten free experience just as good as the normal folks ????
