When I pulled up I thought I'd chosen a No Tell Motel but as soon as I walked into the kitchenette suite I was disavowed of that thought. The wood paneling made it seem like an out of the way cabin and felt very cozy. The bed was as firm as I like and the bathroom fixtures were very high end. To call it a kitchenette is an understatement. It was a full kitchen with stove and standard refrigerator/freezer. The extra pillows and blankets were a nice touch and I'm now imagining bringing friends to use the pull out couch during a Thanksgiving dinner.
So we booked this on short notice and on a budget. The pictures looked nice and pretty good upgrades but there was a smell first walking in that was tough to forget. Great big fancy smart tv. Should have saved on that and improved the beds. Terrible sleep. Luckily there for only one night but me and my wife suffered. It was like sleeping one level above a piece of plywood. Not for us and took a few days of sleeping on a nicer bed to recover
I've stayed here several times this summer. The rooms are comfortable and well stocked. I have enjoyed staying here and will most definitely stay here in the future.
Older style motel. We paid $232 per night for an AC room with kichenette. What they didn't tell us was that there was only AC in the kitchen area. There was a separate hallway to bedroom and bathroom and the bedroom had no AC which made it very unconfortable in 90 degree weather. The bedroom did have a small fan, but it was dangerous to use since the front protective cover was missing.
The room was dusty and smelled musty. My daughter had an allergic reaction to mildew. If we weren't stuck there, with a broken-down vehicle, I would have left and never spent the
night.
This was the best motel I have even been to. It was also my first time in a motel, and my father's birthday, I am a huge fan of motels, although I didn't sleep well, it was still a great experience
The owners continue to update this place. It is very nice. Most motels that provide a refrigerator do not have a freezer. The freezer in these are big enough to put at least six or more, what use to be 1/2 gallons, of ice cream and still more space .
Positive: Cheapest in the area, but man it was still very pricey for what it was. Negative: The AC machine is extremely loud and necessary. So it has to be on, but it does make for an unpleasant nights sleep.
