We stayed here for a night on our honeymoon and we LOVED it. This place is so dreamy and carefully decorated. They offer you a cookie and a free wine tasting when you arrive and the people who work here are just the nicest. The room was big and spotless. We also had an amazing home cooked breakfast. Loved everything about it!!
What a lovely place! We needed a larger room so we stayed in the Trellis Court Motel, but please don't let that name fool you! The rooms are well appointed and the only "motel" feature is that the rooms have the outdoor corridor. The Inn itself is also beautiful. The pool area was nice and we did use that, but we unfortunately did not get to try the restaurant. Although it looked very nice. We did do the wine tasting on-site and that was pleasant as well. The staff is nice, but I found the front desk to be a little stand-offish - didn't really make suggestions about things, had to ask where the cider was and just was pointed to it. I see reviews where past guests feel it has gone downhill or it is not as quaint as it used to be, but if you have never been there before, you would not have anything to compare it to and it really is lovely. I would definitely recommend this charming place.
We loved our stay here. It was for my significant other's birthday weekend and we enjoyed our room, the property, wine tasting and all of the suggestions of places to go around the area. Beautiful beaches, great food and friendly people. We can't wait to come back to Apple Farm and stay again.
This was our second time staying. We stayed in the King deluxe suite, on the first floor, corner. It was absolutely beautiful, quiet, serene, tastefully and wonderfully decorated and warm, inviting ambience. The wine tasting hosted by Yvonne is exceptional, along with recommendations of where to eat, and visit. Top notch service by Yvonne. Everyone also is so hospitable. It is a highlight on our time in SLO!!
This hotel deliberately is so cute and so quaint. Everything was Victorian farmhouse-styled, complete with a four-poster bed and floral wallpaper. We received complimentary coffee upon arriving and were invited to a wine tasting, that we did not attend. Our room was massive. Despite facing the parking lot, we felt a world away. The bathroom was spacious and clean. We woke up to the sound of a rooster crowing and even met a fancy-looking chicken in the parking lot on our way to leave. SLO is adorable and one night was not enough for us.
We enjoyed our stay at the Apple Farm Inn. The decor is country charm which is quaint. The rooms were a decent size with a nice large bathroom. The beds were nice, but a little soft. We didn't make it to the pool and hot tub but it looked great.
We ate breakfast at the Inn and it was just OK. Our server was great but the breakfast was a C.
Overall, a fine place to stay for one night.
Rooms with hot tubs the best. Very clean, very relaxing. Rooms updated, very clean and modern. Showers the best, plenty of hot water, clean fully furnished with towels and soap. Bed looks comfortable. Will re book in the future.

This place is such a gem in San Luis Obispo! So cute and well maintained. The pool is a delight, if a little small. The room we had in the 'motel' section was very clean and had everything we needed, if slightly small. Everything felt very luxury. The staff were so helpful, friendly and happy to help. The home made cookies each day and apple cider were a lovely treat. The wine tastings over at the restaurant were a lovely addition. The manager of the wine shop is a delightful person, great to chat with and really knowledgeable!
The hotel is on the edge of the town near the freeway so easy access out of the city but only a 15 min walk to main downtown area, there is also a lovely old fashioned street car bus for 50 cents each journey which can take you into town. San Luis is a beautiful city and well worth a visit!
