Everything was delicious. I really loved the pizza. They were very generous with the garlic butter on my garlic butter noodles with parmesan. We took leftovers home, but they didn't last long. We inhaled every bite. The waitress was very friendly and attentive.
I dined in around 4:30 PM on a Friday.
The restaurant wasn’t busy. I ordered “The Appalachian”, one of their specialty pizzas, which was closest to what I would typically order.
The pizza came out in under 15 minutes.
The crust on this pizza was great. It had a good taste, was nicely charred & crispy. The sauce was thick, sweet, and tangy. All the condiments were generously portioned, and evenly spread. The mushroom’s seemed to have been canned. The rest of the toppings were fresh.
The pricing was reasonable.
The young lady who served me was friendly and attentive. The restaurant was meticulously clean.
This was my first time eating here, and the restaurant was severely understaffed, but we did go during the Thanksgiving holiday, so maybe they weren't expecting big crowds that night? Regardless, our waitress was VERY sweet, and seemed calm considering what I'm sure was a very stressful evening for her! She was our waitress and also our bartender, and did both with grace and a smile! And the pizza was delicious! Even with the lonnng wait, we left satisfied and happy, and will be back, but maybe with a smaller group.
I genuinely enjoyed the pizza that we ordered. We got two Charles pizza. Coming from NY, it was surprisingly tasteful.
Stopped in on a whim while on a road trip. Glad we did. Bacon, cheese crispy fries were great. Pizza was decent. We got thin crust and it was nice and crunchy. Alfredo with ham (custom order) and the and the Bellino (supreme). Friendly staff. Only drawback was the price. But overall worth trying!
The food is good, but overpriced for what it is, I came to this realization when I was eating at pizza hut and realized that I got a slightly lower quality pizza for half the price. 90% of the staff is a bunch of college kids who could care less if they cook your food right or wait 30 min on a drink because they're in the back playing on their phone. The only good thing I can say about this place is their selection of beer. And the only good server I've had there was Adrian(Adrienne?) She was the only one that made me feel like a customer and not an inconvenience. I hope she finds a better place to work.
First time here, had takeout. The place seems pretty laidback and next time will eat in.
We had a pizza sub, chips, mushrooms and a pizza. I wanted to try different things so I know what to get next time lol. Problem is, Everything was Great!!

My family and I absolutely LOVE Apollo Pizza Old Town Taproom. We have never been disappointed. The food is made fresh, whether you’re dining in or carry out, it’s fresh and hot! You get A LOT for your money. My eyes are bigger than my belly most of the time, but it’s one of those situations that you feel like you could explode, yet, the foods so good it would be worth it. ???? My favorite dish is the chicken fettuccine Alfredo with extra sauce. It comes in a tin/aluminum type dish which helps keep it hot. The cheese is baked on top and once you break that cheese barrier, that facial of the food aroma hits your nostrils! It’s SO GOOD! You also get 5 breadsticks with the Alfredo! The place is always super clean as well as the bathrooms. The waitresses have always been extremely sweet and courteous. Prices aren’t bad at all! It’s a very kid friendly atmosphere. Even though there’s a bar in the back corner, people never get loud or obnoxious. It’s not that kind of bar or place. Everyone is respectful of others and especially with kids there so I can appreciate that. If you’ve never been here, you’re missing out!
